Kyoto Animation’s K-ON! Team Making Tamako Market

A commercial announced that Kyoto Animation is producing a anime series called Tamako Market for this coming Winter season – January 2013 premiere.

Naoko Yamada (K-ON!) is directing, and Reiko Yoshida (K-ON!, Bakuman.) is in charge of the series scripts. Another K-ON! veteran, Yukiko Horiguchi (Lucky Star), is designing the characters.

The new anime will have an original story not based on preexisting material.

Excited? The characters look familiar to me to a certain extent. Lol.
