According to the March issue of Square Enix’s Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine, Saki Achiga-hen episode of side-A manga will end in the following issue in March.
The series launched in Monthly Shonen Gangan in August 2011 as a spin-off to the original Saki manga. Saki Achiga-hen episode of side-A follows childhood friends Shizuno Takakamo and Ako Atarashi as they attempt to revive the mahjong club at Achiga Girl’s Academy and compete against their former classmate, Nodoka. The fourth compiled volume shipped in Japan in November.
The manga has a 12-episode anime adaptation last year with 4 more special episodes which are currently running.
Hopefully with this we will have the new Saki season to start soon!
