The online servers for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on Wii U will be region-locked as revealed by Monster Hunter series producer, Ryozo Tsujimotoin an recent interview with Gamereactor.
This means that American players will play with American players, Japanese with Japanese and Europeans with Europeans. I wonder where that leaves SEAsia? >_<
It especially sucks since people who have international friends can’t do some monster-hunting with them!
You can preorder your copy of the game over at Play-Asia. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will be out on March 19 in US, with Europe set to follow on March 22.
