Hatsune Miku is taking over the electronics sector with the upcoming 7-inch Andriod tablet released by Japanese company RWC this April 15.The “Hatsune Miku Tablet Navi starring Saki Fujita” seven-inch touchscreen tablet will feature case artwork and wallpaper artwork by Vocaloid illustrator Takumi Torigoe and other artists.
The tablet comes pre-loaded with an original navigation app narrated by Hatsune Miku, which will be newly voiced by Fujita. The tablet will also include 50 original illustrations.
The tablet will have 512 MB of memory, 8 GB of storage, an 800×480 liquid crystal screen, wireless connectivity, and Android 4.0. The tablet will also have a microSD card, USB, and Mini HDMI slots, an earphone jack, direction and acceleration sensors, a front 0.3 megapixel camera, a back 2 megapixel camera, an FM transmitter, and other features.
The tablets will feature approximately 4.5 hours of battery life, and will come with an AC adapter, SAGA cable, USB cable, a pedestal, and a stand. Each tablet will cost 39,800 yen (about US$425), and preorders have commenced as of today.
We all know how customizable any Andriod system will be so it’s nice to see a Miku tablet in the market! I know for sure a Miku iPad won’t be available anytime soon ;)
