Genshiken: Second Generation Recast More Returning Characters

According to the July issue of Monthly Afternoon magazine, there are more recast of characters for the anime adaptation of Genshiken: Second Season.

• Yukana as Kanako Ōno
• Kazuyuki Okitsu as Harunobu Madarame
• Rina Satou as Saki Kasukabe
• Naomi Ōzora as Susanna “Sue” Hopkins
• Misa Kobayashi as Angela Burton

Previously announced seiyuu cast:

• Nozomi Yamamoto as Chika Ogiue
• Sumire Uesaka as Rika Yoshitake
• Yumi Uchiyama as Merei Yajima
• Kazutomi Yamamoto as Kenjiro Hato (male persona)
• Ai Kakuma as Kenjiro Hato (female persona)

The Genshiken: Second Season manga continues the adventures of the otaku college club. It will premiere this summer.

On a related note, Sumire Uesaka is singing the OP for the 2nd season.
