In passing I thought I read something about Bakemonogatari’s confusing airing schedule; they had planned 15 episodes, but only 12 episodes aired on television. The remaining three will be streamed online; the first of the last 3 episodes will air October 28. It will be a continuation of the Tsubasa Cat arc.
This was one of my favorite series from last season so I look forward to more episodes; I thought the last arc ended abruptly, but I didn’t question the logic since the series has a habit of being confusing …

Artistically Talented? Have some good ideas? Know Japanese? Then you may want to consider submitting an entry towards the Kyoto Animation Award. They are accepting Manga, Novels, or Scripts. The Deadline is January 10, and the results will be published in the spring. From the sounds of the description it isn’t a 100% chance any ideas will actually be published… only if they are “Received with High Esteem.” For more information you can look at their official site; they list the rules of entry (which specifically say no non-Japanese language …

I must have been half to sleep the last few days, totally missed that a new Project Diva Game was announced! No details yet, but it appears that more will be elaborated on it next month. There is currently a rumor that this will be for the consoles and not the PSP like the previous game. I hope this is a lie since I have no current generation consoles D=
For those of you who know nothing about the original Project Diva that was released over the summer, go read my …

In an effort to find something to write I decided that since I have an addiction to youtube and am bored, in the future I’ll write a few posts dedicated to awesome anime-ish internet memes.
For those of you who dont’ know, Wikipedia defines a meme as such:
A meme (pronounced /ˈmiːm/, rhyming with “cream”[1]) is a postulated unit or element of cultural ideas, symbols or practices, and is transmitted from one mind to another through speech, gestures, rituals, or other imitable phenomena. (The etymology of the term relates to the Greek …

Kentaro Miura, the mangaka of perhaps the manliest manga in the history of manga, has turned to the dark side. It was quite some time ago fans learned of his Loli Idol Master addiction, which many seemed to think may have been interfering with his progress in completing Berserk, but this is the first time loli has appeared in his work, even if it is just a promo.
The Female character above is Schierke a young female witch who has joined Gatsu’s NEW party. Gatsu’s currently traumatized brain dead lover Caska, …

Are you one of the many people that want the new PSPGo? Do you have a older PSP and a collection of games you were hoping to transfer to your PSPGo? Well it looks like you’re out of luck; Sony currently has no intention of finding an option for UMD owners to play their old games on their new system; despite the fact that at E3 they told hopeful fans they were looking into a solution to the problem.
“We were evaluating a UMD conversion program, but due to legal and …

Gyabo manga series Nodame Catabille will be coming to an end in this upcoming month. The last chapter will be released in Kiss Magazine on October 10th. I’m sure many ~gyabo fans will cry when this wonderful series ends.
Luckily fans won’t have to wait too long for more Nodame; the third season of the Nodame Anime begins in January 2010, and the first movie airs December 19th.
I never did read the manga… I found it difficult to enjoy a series about music without actually hearing the music xD

Popular Seiyuu Nana Mizuki will be voicing the Japanese mascot for Windows 7; which is available for preorder in Japan starting September 24. Nana has voiced characters such as Fate from Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha, and Moka from Rosario + Vampire. Zenical is also a super fangirl of her, so now she will probably be forced to purchase a Windows 7 when it is released.
I really have nothing else to say… so here is a slightly relating video. Long live the PC!!! Death to Macs!

An animation of some sort for the the manga and PSP game .Hack//Link is currently in production. It will not be a television series, though what exactly they have planned is not explained in any detail. If I had to guess, perhaps it will be something similar to the .Hack/Liminality OVA’s that were released with the original PS2 games, or even a movie.

I am a huge fan of the original 2002 anime series .Hack//Sign. I lost interest in the spin off series which seemed to lack both …
