Busou Renkin

Genres: Shounen, Supernatural, Action
Aired: Oct 5, 2006 to Mar 29, 2007
Producer: Geneon
Originally someone recommended that I watch this series when they discovered that I’m a huge fan of Rurouni Kenshin. Busou Renkin was made by the same author. In the last three years since its been recommended I’ve lost it once when my external hardrive died, and another time when my computer required to be restored. I decided I needed to finally sit down and watch this series before something else catastrophic happened.
The basic plot is …

Manga, Years of Anime, more video games than I can count, Card Games, merchaindise, a Hollywood movie. Dragon Ball has its name on nearly everything imaginable. Now it plans on taking another step into the world of MMORPGs.

Since this weekend was slow for anime news, here is my quick impression of one of last season’s most popular series. This isn’t a review though; since a second season is coming eventually… Though if this was a review I’d say this series is OK xP
Just a note; the only reason I ended up watching this series was a post M made a while back xD
DANCING SAMURAI OPENING xP
Impressions:

+ Said horses also have Motorcycle attachments

Mononoke
Episodes: 12
Genres: Horror, Fantasy, Mystery, Psychological
Aired: Jul 13, 2007 to Sep 28, 2007
Producer: Toei Animation
What initially enticed me to watch this series was the amazing animation style. The vibrant colors and Japanese style art work give this series alot of charisma. I had also heard alot of people compare this series to Mushishi, a beautiful series about supernatural spirit beings called “Mushi” and how they interact with mankind and nature. I personally felt it bore much more resemblance to Requiem from the Darkness, though not nearly as disturbing. …

I have just discovered the fact that, even though I am currently reading about a dozen ongoing manga series, in the past month I’ve only read 4.5 new manga chapters- 2 Naruto, 1 Full Metal Alchemist, 1 Skip Beat, And a mini Hetalia Chapter. If it weren’t for my knowledge that Ouran High School host club comes out in just a few more days I would truly be descending into despair!
So where have all my series gone? Besides Naruto, which is released on a weekly basis in Shounen Jump, unless …

For years now I have been hearing about the J-drama Hana Yori Dango, but not being a big J-drama fan I decided to check out the anime instead.
Story: The series revolves around a common high school girl named Tsukushi Makino who just wants to blend into the crowd and have a peaceful high school life. But she feels somewhat out of place Eitoku High School, an elite institution of the richest and …

A site for newly announced anime The Inheritor of the Crescent Moon (Sengoku Gyoujin DULLAHAN Kagen no Keishousha) has recently been opened. It shows quite a few pictures of interesting artwork, but no air date. Since this series has caught my interest I will keep any new information I find to be updated here.
It’s originally a winner of the grand prize of Miyagi Sendai Animation Contest 2008.
The story takes place in a parallel world of Sengoku era and Date Masamune fights riding on a giant robot.
So this series will basically …
