Aya Hirano Banned From New Anime

If you haven’t heard Aya Hirano in any of the new anime series, don’t be surprised. It looks like she has been banned from voicing any new anime by her management office Spacecraft Entertainment. As tweeted,

I have lots of anime roles this season.

As I am currently banned from appearing in any new anime since last year, I’m grateful for second seasons and long-running anime! I’m really grateful! (TдT)

It seems that she is also not going to release music for the duration of 2011. So does this just leaves her with appearing on variety shows, making comments via twitter? Well regardless she still has roles like Jewelpet Sunshine, Seikon no Qwaser II, Nurarihyon no Mago 2, Fairy Tail and Maria†Holic Alive.

Aki Toyosaki Is A Surprising Gamer!

Some of you may think she’s the kind of girl that carries her Nintendo DS around playing games like Cooking Mama, and then goes back home for some Kirby’s Epic Yarn on the Wii. Well, think again.

It seems like she is into the more “serious” games. Below is what she told a Japanese magazine (SPA if that matters to you).

“I’m often told that I look like someone who plays Animal Crossing.”

“I love Grand Theft Auto and fighting games! I’m the type who totally gets into something.”

Well I certainly didn’t see that coming, and now I think I like her more just because of that!

Aya Hirano Fans Enraged, Destroy Collection

I’m sure most of you read the drama that has been going around popular voice actress Aya Hirano. She doesn’t want to be seiyuu, and is hoping over to be a TV Talent. But in the midst of doing so she seems to have angered many of her otaku fans.

She laid her love life bare on “Goût Temps Nouveau”, a Japanese program for women, with the revelation that she “loves older men” and has apparently dated several at the same time.

As a result, some creepy otaku fans have began destroying their collection. One guy even posted a video of him destroying his collection. Hop on over to SankakuComplex for the video. LOL.

Aya Hirano posted a blog post on her blog(her blog is down already), a response to fans’ reaction:

All of these romantic experiences helped support me, and I don’t want to continue this shallow and unrealistic façade.

I don’t want to write songs about some fantasy love. I should be able to show the real me.

Stop making Tweets telling me to “die!” or saying you hate me.

And after we just made a lifeline to each other… Even one as powerful as me is reeling under this.

So, from here on I hope you wish me well!

While I go crazy over my seiyuu, I don’t think it’s wrong of her to date several men. Seiyuu are human beings and what they do is entirely up to them. We as fans should support them in whatever they do. Still I wonder what will happen to those shows she’s currently voicing. Roles such as Lucy from Fairy Tail.

Aya Hirano Using Twitter For 1 Day Only

Wow! Voice Actress Aya Hirano(best known for Haruhi and Konata) is going to use Twitter for 1 Day only. Her 10th Single, Hysteric Barbie is available today, and so, to mark this occasion, she will be using the “Hysteric Barbie” Twitter account.

Well seeing that Twitter is so popular in Japan now, I don’t see why she wouldn’t want to have her own Twitter account ^^.

Chihara Minori Slept With Little Brother

My friend showed me this earlier just now. My reaction? “LOL”. Seiyuu and singer Chihara Minori has posted up that she slept with her little brother on her blog.

What I was personally most pleased about this time was getting to sleep with my little brother. We talked about all kinds of things! ♥ ♥ ♥

It is also said that she relates other otouto episodes frequently. Stuff like she has her little brother set as wallpaper on her keitai, etc. This might be what you guys know as Bro-con.

My only question now is “How old is her little brother in the first place?” If he’s less than 10, then I understand.. >_>

The latest Seiyuu Charts in Voice Newtype(Seiyuu Magazine) will make all Nana fans sad. Nana Mizuki has been dethroned from #1 and Aki Toyosaki has claimed #1, who is well-known for her role as Yui Hirasawa in K-ON!

Wow. Endou Aya’s been in quite a lot of the Anime I’ve been watching. From Matsu in Sekirei, to Cruz Schild in NEEDLESS, to even Lena from Mai-Otome Sifr. Her voice has changed from role to role pretty impressively. If it were not for the fact that I tend to research a little on the seiyuu of each anime before I start watching, I would never be able to tell.

Of course, most of you probably know her as the Non-Singing voice of Sheryl Nome from Macross Fronter or as Miyuki from Lucky Star. Lol, Earlier on when doing the collage picture below this text, I placed Miyuki next to Felicia from So-Ra-No-Wo-To and I was like, “Hmmm. Looks like Miyuki + 10 years – the Pink Hair.”

Another dosage of Seiyuu Sunday for readers! Earlier this week I met up with the local Zotaku Writers and we were talking about our weekly feature of Seiyuu. As M knows, I am already running out of Seiyuus to feature at the moment. We even suggested to have guuzen to write up on his fave seiyuu – since he is the only one who hasn’t. We can’t count on Bluesnow to do it since we already featured the one she “could” have wrote on. LOL. Yeah so for the upcoming weeks, we might, or might not feature a seiyuu. Tentatively I will try to continue blogging about various Seiyuu.. ^^”
