The Nana Mizuki Live Flight 2014 nationwide tour kicked off today at the Fuji Q Highlands and will wrap up on August 3rd at Yokohama Stadium – a total of 14 shows in 11 locations!

In addition to the Singapore solo live in September, two shows in Taiwan will be taking place on October 4 and 5.

The seiyuu cast of Mikasa Ackerman and Sasha Browse, Yui Ishikawa and Yu Kobayashi were at the event too. Unfortunately I was too far to get a good picture of them.

The show was originally supposed to start at 8pm, but when I arrived at 630pm, the place was crowded already! Lots of folks were also snapping and taking a video of the lights show.

This year will be fifth consecutive performance of Nana Mizuki, the fourth appearance of T.M. Revolution, the second appearance of Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, and the debut appearance of Linked Horizon, known for their works of Shingeki no Kyojin. Other artistes involved are like: Momoiro Clover Z, Arashi, SMAP, Porno Graffiti, AKB48, SKE48 and NMB48, etc.

The NHK-General channel will run the program from 7:15 to 11:45 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.

‘Music Matters’ is a music business convention for the Asian region. Its program features a wide variety from concerts to discussions. flumpool and SID will be appearing on the main stage with a live event called ‘J-rock Matters presented by BARKS‘ on May 23 at 9:00 pm for 15,000 guests. This live is scheduled to stream live via YouTube.

Afterwards at 11:00 pm, the two bands will head over to Beer Market for an invite-only live, joined by WEAVER.

The place would be at Clarke Quay Central Fountain Stage and is FREE! Unfortunately its a Thursday so I don’t think I will be going since its a work night..

Otakon first hosted T.M.Revolution during his American debut in 2003. So it will be 10 years later.. I’m sure his global fanbase has expanded by now, so expect more excitement from fans! :D

I have seen him last year in November when he came to Singapore for Anime Festival Asia 2012. I love his voice a lot!! He even spit some holy water during his performance LOL.

Eir Aoi and Luna Haruna will be performing at the upcoming Sakura-con convention taking place in Seattle this March 29-31.

If you must know, Eir Aoi and Haruna Luna performed songs for the anime series Sword Art Online and Fate/Zero. And if you’re not tempted enough, Kawahara Reki will be there too! He is the creator for Sword Art Online and also Accel World.

Kawahara, Aoi, and Haruna are attending the convention as a part of Sakura-Con’s “Sword Art Online Mega Pack” guest line-up. Aniplex of America brought over LiSA’s Sword Art Online single, “crossing field,” last August, and the company revealed during its live-streaming panel last Friday that it will offer a special exclusive at the convention.

The two lovely singers will perform on March 30. Check out their greeting video below (for folks in the US)
