Naruto Anime Theme Park Attraction Opens Till September

The Laguna Gamagori marine resort complex announced yesterday that it will host a “Naruto – Memories of Chakra in Lagunasia” theme park attraction from 17 March to 2 September. It will be the tenth anniversary for both Naruto the anime series and the resort! What a way to commemorate!

The event’s main attraction will be “Memories of Chakra,” a recreation of the anime’s famous scenes from the time Naruto sets out on his ninja journey to the beginning of the Shinobi World War. The Lagunasia theme park’s nine areas will also include the “Hokage Monument,” “Konohagakure Village Ninjutsu Dojo,” “Hokage Palace,” and “Ninpoudo” shop where guests can enjoy a menu inspired by the anime and purchase exclusive promotional goods.

Every area of Lagunasia complex will be decorated with a Naruto motif, and visitors can experience all the displays and attractions by participating in the “Sharingan Stamp Rally.” Character shows will also take place during the event.

I am no Narutard, but Naruto has been a part of my life since approximately 8 years ago, and yes I would like to visit it.. If only I could – the theme park is located in Gamagori City in the central Japanese prefecture of Aichi. (which is a 3-hours ride from Tokyo)

The theme park will be based on the Naruto theme from 17 March to 2 September.

Blue Exorcist To Get Stage Play

Another anime/manga gets the stage play adaptation this year – that’s Blue Exorcist, as announced in the March issue of Shueisha’s Jump Square magazine.

The anime film of Blue Exorcist will also open this year.

Sora no Otoshimono Gets 3rd Season

A recent television commercial for the March issue of Monthly Shounen Ace magazine indicates that a 3rd season of Sora no Otoshimono has been given the green light.

The March issue will go on sale on Thursday, 26 January. The ad hints that the issue will contain an “important announcement”.

Phi Brain: Kami no Puzzle Gets Season 2

Anime studio Sunrise has announced that a second season of Phi Brain: Kami no Puzzle has been given the green light. In the second season, the story continues to revolve around the Orpheus bangle and Phi Brain, but the puzzle battles heat up.

A new enemy, a group of boys named Orpheus Order, appears before Kaito and the others, and the battles begin anew.

The second season will premiere this 8 April 2012. The anime is currently airing and the first volume of the anime series will go on sale this 27 January 2012.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Film Project Announced

Oh my, another piece of Code Geass news! Yoshitaka Kawaguchi, the producer of the Code Geass anime franchise, has announced that a film adaptation of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion anime is being planned.

It is different from Code Geass Gaiden: Boukoku no Akito, which is set to premiere this summer.

The anime studio Sunrise has announced that Code Geass Gaiden: Boukoku no Akito project will screen in 10 theaters throughout Japan in early summer this year.

Code Geass: Nunnally in Wonderland OVA Announced

The official Code Geass website announced yesterday that a new OVA spin-off, Nunnally in Wonderland OVA will be released on Blu-ray and DVD later this year. Each edition will include a 40-page picture book that recounts the same story as the anime.

The character designer for the first Code Geass anime, Takahiro Kimura, will be the animation director and character designer for this project.

How many of you watch the Precure anime series? Not me – until lately XD. I am currently watching Suite Precure. I love the plot and characters. Might pick up Smile Precure if it’s good! Anyway Toei Animation has revealed the official cast for the upcoming Smile Precure series.

Rurouni Kenshin Manga Series To Restart Serialization

Good news all fans of Rurouni Kenshin! It has been reported that the manga series will restart its serialization after 13 years. It first got serialized through Weekly Shounen Jump in 1994, then it got an anime adaptation in 1996. Serialization for the manga ended in 1999.

Serialization will be restarted in the June issue of JUMP SQ.

Details about the new serialization have been kept under wraps, including the story and its characters.

Kyoto Animation Next Anime: Chuunibyo demo Koi ga Shitai!

Kyoto Animation has confirmed on their website on Wednesday that an anime adaptation is in the works for Torako’s Chuunibyo demo Koi ga Shitai!

Plot Summary

Togashi Yuta used to suffer from what is known as chuunibyou (8th grade disease). However he outgrew this phase in his life when entering highschool. But it was there where he met a strange girl named Takanashi Rikka — who happened to be inflicted with chuunibyou. Yuta is then forced to make a contract with her.

It’s also known that last year the novel received an honorable mention in the Novel category of the first Kyoto Animation Award program.
