Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Coming to PlayStation 3 and Vita

Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax, Sega’s crossover fighting game celebrating the 20th anniversary of the titular light novel imprint, is finally jumping from the arcade to home platforms! It is being planned for PlayStation 3 and Vita this fall.

There are many playable characters in the game: Kuroyukihime, Shana, Kirito, Asuna, Mikoto, Kirino, Taiga…The list goes on. Hopefully they will add in more characters!

Personally I am thrilled at the piece of news and it looks like another game will be added to my 2014 list..

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call Out in North America This 16 September

Rhythm game Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call — the sequel to 2012′s Theatrhythm Final Fantasy — will be getting a release in North America on 16 September 2014.

Square Enix is offering a limited Collector’s Edition — only 5,000 copies are available through its online store. The $69.99 Collector’s Edition includes a Theatrhythm-themed 3DS carrying pouch, a 20-track Curtain Call soundtrack CD and five collectible cards featuring artwork from the game.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call launched in Japan last month.

If you have been playing Pokémon X and Y and have been diligently trading – you will be rewarded soon. To celebrate the upcoming milestone, Nintendo will distribute a special “Fancy Pattern Vivillon” once the Global Trade Station reaches 100 million trades.

According to Nintendo, about 90 million Pokémon have been traded worldwide at this point. Do keep a lookout at Pokémon.com to learn how to get the special Vivillon in your copy of X/Y.

Pokémon Art Academy Coming to North America this Fall

Pokémon Art Academy is getting a June 19 release in Japan. Fans in North America won’t be disappointed as Pokémon Art Academy is getting ready to help fans learn to draw the series’ most iconic Pokémon this fall, for the 3DS and 2DS.

Players will have an easy guide with step-by-step instructions on painting and drawing techniques to make your masterpiece. You’ll be able to try your hand at drawing 40 Pokemon, including Fennekin, Oshawott, Charizard, and of course, Pikachu.

Final Fantasy III Coming to PC

Square Enix has announced plans to release Final Fantasy III on PC via Steam. The game will include unlockable Steam Trading Cards and Achievements, as well as new visual designs for the Job Mastery Cards.

Game will retail at a cost of $15.99.

Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Announced For 3DS

Nintendo has announced a new Pokemon adventure for the 3DS: Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. Both will be out this November, and will be a “fresh take” on the originals.

Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire were originally released in 2003 for the Game Boy Advance.

Video: Liberation Maiden SIN Promo

The promo video of upcoming Liberation Maiden SIN is now available for viewing.

The game will ship for the PS Vita in Japan on July 31, at a retail price of 6,800 yen for a normal copy and the limited edition copy bundled with a production materials booklet and a product code to download an original short anime is priced at 8,800 yen.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Heads to North America This March 18

Japan will be getting the release of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD this December 26. It has been announced that North America will get the game this March 18 2014, Europe will follow with the date scheduled on March 21.

An HD remaster of Final Fantasy X: Eien no Nagi-setsu (Eternal Calm) will be included with the game. Eien no Nagi-setsu was bundled with Final Fantasy X International and The Other Side of Final Fantasy 2 bonus disc. The 14-minute video takes place between the Final Fantasy X and X-2 games. The video was bundled in Europe in the Unlimited Saga Collector’s Edition release.

The pair of RPG games will cost you $39.99 for the PS3 platform. It looks like preordering the remastered set will get you a limited edition that packs the game with special packaging and a book of concept art! The games will be sold separately for the Vita platform, at a cost of 3,990 yen each or 3,600 yen for download.
