The anime series, Saki is so popular that a mahjong mini-game is now available at the Official Website!
In the mini-game, you can play against three computer players.
I have no idea how to play Chinese Mahjong, let alone Japanese Mahjong. Apparently they’re different? (Well according to my friends who say so >_>). Despite the fact that I have no idea how they players are actually playing mahjong – All the KAN, TSUMO and stuff is making me go GAHHH, I am still watching it!
Here’s the plot summary of Saki from ANN,
Miyanaga …

So anyone here heard of 4Kids before? They’re like the company that brought Anime titles such as One Piece and Pokemon to the North American market.
The paidContent.org website for digital media news is reporting that the 4Kids Entertainment licensing and broadcasting company has put itself up for sale.
I for one loved this company for they were the ones supplying the English-dubbed Pokemon episodes which I used to watch many moons again. Then after more or less giving up on the Pokemon Anime, this company slipped off my radar till now. …

So the last time I did a post on Saki was sometime around 3 weeks back and I’ve an itch to write about it again. Why? Because it’s so awesome they take 5 weeks to play the last round of Mahjong.
Yes. This show is beginning to feel like Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu’s Endless Eight arc, without the repeating scenes each week of course. While I still very much like this show because it features:
Mahjong
Cute Girls
Special Effects
Powerful Seiyuu Cast
the occassional Yuri scenes
the very much frequent Sweaty Thighs scenes
Haramura Nodoka
and Amae Koromo
Etopen. …

This October, get to see Miracle Train! Smexy guys.. I wonder whether there’ll be yaoi? (Because I see pretty boys. LOL)
The moe boy characters based on the the heavily travelled Japan Railways train line that runs east to west through the heart of Tokyo.
The first version of the Miracle Train project focused on the stations of the central Chūō line, while the new anime and related stories deal with the Ōedo subway line. As a result, the anime will feature a newer cast of characters — specifically, Fumi Roppongi, Rintarō …

According to CD Journal, new anime episodes of “Urusei Yatsura“, “Ranma ½“, and “InuYasha” will be released in a DVD-BOX called “It’s a Rumic World Special Anime BOX” on January 29th, 2010.
This announcement is separate from the new season of Inuyasha that was announced last week.
These three series are all works of Rumiko Takahashi. While I’m a huge Ranma 1/2 half fan myself, I’m very surprised that a series whose original run was 1989-1992, is still getting love.
Ranma 1/2 is a series about a boy who becomes cursed. Whenever he …

A movie of the 2006 anime Fate/Stay Night has been announced, though no specifics have been given as to when this movie will be released, or what the movie will be based on. From what I’ve heard the visual Novel still has a large part of its story completely untouched.
Perhaps this movie adaption has come as a result of the success of the Kara no Kyoukai series by the same company. Though something tells me its following my prediction that in this recession companies want to take hold of older …
