Following the ACE formula, this new portable game will feature mechs from a few anime series (20 series in this game) and they will battle it out with each other. What is different about this game though, is that there won’t be any story. There are just a series of missions and mechs for you to choose from and off you go. You can repeat these missions as many times as you want, grinding Ace Points to buy better mechs.

According to Namco Bandai, they decided not to have a story because this is a multiplayer driven game where up to 3 people can team up and take on the missions together. No news if there will be a versus mode.

Well how many of you are excited about this? I know Japanese gamers are since they like portable gaming a lot. Heck, there is even an area in Akihabara where Dragon Quest IX players can hang out and play together though I’m not sure if it still exists today.

The first kit went on sale in 1980 at a price of 300 yen. It was a 1/144-scale Gundam. This July 24, Bandai will be releasing a new 1/144 Real-Grade Gundam kit for 2,625 yen.

I wonder what they mean by Real-Grade? Maybe Q can enlighten me ;).

Partnering up with Japanese cosmetics company FANCL, Bandai’s Skin Expert is a tiny device which you apparently hold up to your face to receive detailed information on its ‘quality’ and health.

Retail price of the gadget is at 3,750 yen. Would you get this just for the sake of your appearance? Or spend the cash on something like.. figurines? LOL.

I seen a machine that helps to tell you of your life – whether you are eating sufficient food, getting enough sleep, etc. Don’t know how much the machine cost, but I wonder whether the machine is telling the truth? o.O The results are attained when they put this metal thing on your ankle, and electricity flows through it. >_<

In the Amusement Machines Show, you get to play arcade games like the crane game and win attractive prizes! REALLY attractive prizes in fact. Yakiniku restaurants are almost everywhere in Japan, so this is another money-making scheme ~! Lol. Using a fake BBQ and fake food, players must be the first to successfully collect fully “grilled” plastic food. No idea how you can actually check whether the food is “grilled” but I suppose I can let my imagination run wild now? ^^

Each piece is around 4-5cm. It is stated that there are 10 figures to be released in total. 1 box will contain 10 figures, so maybe buying 1 box will obtain all of the figures, but who knows, there might be a rare/special and people may end up buying 2 boxes. Anyone game to buy this set? ^^
