Broccoli has started preorders of Nanoha and Fate Tumblers. I remember back when I first started on this hobby I missed the sale of such a tumbler. It had Adult Fate!! Although the tumbler has loli Fate, who cares. ^^

K-ON! Goods Brought In 1.8 Billlion Yen

TBS Holdings, the parent company of the Japanese television station TBS, revealed its financial results for the first quarter of the 2011 fiscal year. 1.8 billion yen of of K-ON! anime shirts and many other character goods like mobile phone straps, etc – you name it they have it, were sold!

Home video sales and licensing rights for the anime itself are not counted towards that 1.8-billion-yen total. The financial results cover the three-month period from April 1 to June 30.

I do wonder how well home video sales and licensing rights are. Because if the figures are not even 10% of the 1.8 billion yen that the character goods brought in, it’s really pathetic, and you can just see how many fans actually bother to purchase the original animation. I don’t buy the original animation simply because I want my subtitles XD. Well but I did contribute to the 1.8 billion yen for character goods :3.

GSC has started taking preorders for this cool-looking metal charm featuring BRS Rock Cannon, made from brass. This lovely accessory could be used to replace the plastic rock cannon that comes along with Nendoroid BRS.

This preorder caught me off by surprise. The metal charm series are pretty much limited and hard to come by.. You have to pay a lot just to get your hands on the charms. Then again, really happy that Hobby Search has started preorders for this lovely charm. Hopefully they will continue doing so – so that fans like me don’t have to resort to paying high prices for exclusive items >_<.

Remember in the recent K-ON! Episode 14(Or OVA), we saw Yui drawing a teacup icon to represent the band? Looks like more K-ON! goods will be making their way to the preorder list now. First up, Broccoli has just announced preorders of this lovely K-ON! wrist band that has the teacup logo on it ^^. More tea time!

Evangelion Spandex Bicycle Shorts

Think you seen enough of Evangelion merchandises? This latest news seen over at ANN, is about Spandex Bicycle Shorts being put up for sale! Besides these cool looking shorts, they are taking in a variety of Evangelion bicycle accessories.

The new items are part of the expanded Evangelion Bike Project that had its roots in 2006’s EVA01BIKE bicycle.

According to Media Magic,the shorts are made from “sweat-wicking, fast-drying polyester” that is “refreshing to wear even when sweating during intense workouts, with ample elasticity for a comfortable fit.”

I wonder whether it glows in the dark? I just have this mindset that the shorts will glow in the dark XD.
