Could this be due to the anime series Sengoku Basara? LOL.
Sengoku Style Cafe & Bar Mononopu has cute girls who cosplay in a combination of maid costumes and samurai armor. The cafe is only a 5 minutes walk away from Akihabara Station.

If you have been following up on Singapore-based Otaku events for cosplaying – Kouhaku and EOY, you may be sad to know this. STAC is disbanding. They are the organizers who have been planning such events for years. It is sad that the well-known cosplay event, EOY has come to an end..

So we probably heard of Cosplay. Cosplay events are held throughout the year. Many have been organized, well until I lost count how many have been held this year, 2008. Think the most memorable Cosplay Events are Cosfest and EOY(End of Year). There was also the SOY(Start of Year) which I missed because I was too tired. Haha!
