To celebrate the milestone of the Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance film’s two millionth viewing, with the box-office receipt reaching three billion yen (Eva 1.0 only had two billion yen), an 18-meter-tall (59-foot-tall) movie poster is being auctioned for charity on the Yahoo! Auctions Japan website. An autograph of Co-director Kazuya Tsurumaki is also on the poster.

The auction will benefit the Japan Committee Vaccines for the World’s Children (JCV). You can view the auction for the 18m poster here.

A 1/4 scale of Ayanmi Rei by Aizu Project is now officially up for preorders again, a re-release O.O. Expensive expensive.

Retail price is at 20,790 yen. She will be out in September 2009. Preorders are up at Hobby Search.
I watched Evangelion myself, and I heart Ayanami Rei <3! Lol. Well Asuka isn’t so bad.. This is so expensive ><. Will not even consider buying. Lol.

It has been announced that Hikaru Utada will be singing the theme song of Evangelion: 2.0 – You Can (Not) Advance film.

The title of the theme song has yet to be made public, but I know definitely the song will be awesome. Love the song Beautiful World which was also sang by Hikaru Utada for the first film ending credits.
Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance will premiere in Japan on 27 June 2009. Hope Singapore would get the film not too long after that!

I went down to KKnM to collect this yesterday! Am now the proud owner of the first Ayanami Rei in my collection! Why not the other Rei? Why this?
