Chocolate Phone

If you love chocolates and you want your phone to be “consumable”, this phone might just be right for you! Only available in Japan, NTT Docomo will have Melty Bitter (Brown) and Melty Strawberry (Pink) clamshell phones for sale. They are “coated” from outside in a way to look like three-dimensional chocolate bars in their winter line-up.

The technical specs are nothing extraordinary, though: 3-inch WVGA ASV screen, 8MP CCD camera, waterproof, 1-seg digital TV tuner, Bluetooth etc.
Only 13,000 units will be made. I’m expecting a really expensive pricing for this …

Singing Shumai Wants To Be Eaten!

Take a look at this cute commercial of singing shumai who wants to be eaten :3.

Kiyoken, the company that produces the shumai, was founded over 100 years ago in Yokohama. Its age and location allows it to boast that its products have an old fashioned Yokohama-style flavor.

Nice, I love shumai, sorry guys, no matter how cute you are in the commercial, I still want to eat you *evil grins*

So far, there is no nationwide fast food chain offering hot dog in Japan. But looks like things are changing as Mini Stop convenience stores have started concentrating on hot dogs, aiming to become a fast food contender.

And here is the CM for the Hot Dogs!!

We do have fast food chains offering hot dogs here, but there aren’t many of the outlets here.. o.O What about you? Do you see Hot Dogs Fast Food Chains? ^^

Burger Vending Machine is Controlled by Human

I know just how crazy vending machines are in Japan, we have R4 being sold in Japan, and vending machines allowing you to bill it via your veins.

The concept of having a burger vending machine is so great that the cook controllers the vending machine manually. He pops the burger into the “vending machine” himself. Take a look at the video below!

Drop 100 Yen and you’ll get a Tateishi Hamburger in no time, but if you want another, you’ll have to walk into the restaurant and wait. It all seems …

Windows 7 Whopper is Real and Horrifying

In my previous post, I presented you the Windows 7 Whopper at BK Japan. While we can’t figure out how customers were going to be able to take a bite out of it, our questions have been answered by CheapAssGamer! He took a voyage down to Akihabara Burger King to try out the Windows 7 Whopper.

The beef patties looks fattening. Wait they are! I will never ever purchase it because I know I can’t finish it at all. Too many beef patties ><.

Windows 7 Whopper at Burger King Japan

Feeling hungry? Then be sure to try out this new Windows 7 Whopper at Burger King Japan! Microsoft has taken a unique step here to promote Windows 7 in Japan.

Fitting in with the software theme, the burger stacks seven patties in an otherwise normal Whopper and measures 5.1 inches tall. It also has an appropriate 777 yen price.
Looks like Microsoft has forgotten that Nana Mizuki voiced the Japanese Mascot for Windows 7. They should just mention “Nana Mizuki” in their advertisement and I’m sure any fan of Nana will rush …
