From July 24th till 27th, there’s a rather interesting promotion at Japan Macdonald’s.
Just show up between 8-9am and ask for your free coffee. The first 1,000,000 will get theirs FREE.
Well clearly this looks like some method to make you purchase your breakfast there. I know I’ll grab something else to go with the coffee (even if that means I have to pay. LOL.
The offer appears to be limited to stores in Tokyo, Saitama, Kanagawa, Chiba, Gunma, Ibaraki and Tochigi prefectures. [Japan Probe]
Speaking of Mac, I just had this a few …

Known as Cola Shock, this is a cola and vodka ready drink in a can (5% vodka), and the latest Japanese drink in Tokyo. Definitely not for kids but for people who wants to try alcohol ready cola =3
I never had any alcohol drinks in my entire life. I only remember my friend spiking my normal cola drink with some grape-flavored alcohol. And let’s just say the taste is already very different – cola & grape =/.
Lol and behold the CM for Cola Shock.
Have you ever had any alcoholic drinks? …

Bandai and MegaHouse has come up with a new party toy for Yakiniku lovers (Korean BBQ)
This new toy will let you have the same experience at home – minus the chewing and hunger satisfaction of course.
Yakiniku restaurants are almost everywhere in Japan, so this is another money-making scheme ~! Lol. Using a fake BBQ and fake food, players must be the first to successfully collect fully “grilled” plastic food. No idea how you can actually check whether the food is “grilled” but I suppose I can let my imagination run …

Just when we thought Japan is ready for world domination with their 1/1 scale Gundam, we have a $200,000 robot which prepares ramen at Yamanashi Eatery – Momozono Robot Ramen! The age of technology is certainly advancing. Soon we will have robots who can wash your toilets?
The ramen-making robot was built by 60-year-old shop owner Yoshihira Uchida, who spent about 20 million yen on its construction.
Customers can place their orders on a computer in the shop, choosing the various flavors they prefer. There are 40 million flavors permutations available O_O. …

Remember going to sushi restaurants/places with moving conveyor belts that deliver endless amount of food? Now you can have it right at home. Yes! Find joy in the Toy Sushi Train. XD
Epoch will officially unveil this toy sushi train later this month at the Tokyo Toy Show. Doubtfully slated for a US release (most probably because the train’s design wasn’t meant to accommodate several pounds of cow meat dipped in butter), the train is a replica of Japan’s famously fast N700 series Shinkansen.
Well this looks interesting though I don’t know …

I had my first Japanese Drink around 1 year ago, but I didn’t realized that until a few weeks back. LOL.
Presenting Calpis Soda! It’s currently my fave drink that I have at least a huge bottle in my storeroom, and a small bottle just in case it becomes sold out at the Yamakawa Super(they sell mainly Japanese Snacks, goodies etc) here ><
So what is Calpis?
Quoted from Wikipedia:
Calpis (カルピス ,Karupisu) is a Japanese uncarbonated soft drink, manufactured by Calpis Co., Ltd. (カルピス株式会社 ,Karupisu Kabushiki-gaisha) , headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo. The beverage …

Bet everyone knows what Monster Hunter is all about, be it on the PS2/PSP etc, isn’t it great when you have food just from the game you play? I remembered reading of a Final Fantasy Potion which didn’t seem suitable for drinking at all.. The color was just wrong. Lost the link of the article, so can’t post the picture here.
Now we have Monster Hunter Ramen.. Which is obviously a tactic to get Monster Hunter fans to buy all these cans of Ramen just to support Monster Hunter!
Also it is …
