Pokémon Art Academy is getting a June 19 release in Japan. Fans in North America won’t be disappointed as Pokémon Art Academy is getting ready to help fans learn to draw the series’ most iconic Pokémon this fall, for the 3DS and 2DS.

Players will have an easy guide with step-by-step instructions on painting and drawing techniques to make your masterpiece. You’ll be able to try your hand at drawing 40 Pokemon, including Fennekin, Oshawott, Charizard, and of course, Pikachu.

Final Fantasy III Coming to PC

Square Enix has announced plans to release Final Fantasy III on PC via Steam. The game will include unlockable Steam Trading Cards and Achievements, as well as new visual designs for the Job Mastery Cards.

Game will retail at a cost of $15.99.

The promo video of upcoming Liberation Maiden SIN is now available for viewing.

The game will ship for the PS Vita in Japan on July 31, at a retail price of 6,800 yen for a normal copy and the limited edition copy bundled with a production materials booklet and a product code to download an original short anime is priced at 8,800 yen.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Heads to North America This March 18

Japan will be getting the release of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD this December 26. It has been announced that North America will get the game this March 18 2014, Europe will follow with the date scheduled on March 21.

An HD remaster of Final Fantasy X: Eien no Nagi-setsu (Eternal Calm) will be included with the game. Eien no Nagi-setsu was bundled with Final Fantasy X International and The Other Side of Final Fantasy 2 bonus disc. The 14-minute video takes place between the Final Fantasy X and X-2 games. The video was bundled in Europe in the Unlimited Saga Collector’s Edition release.

The pair of RPG games will cost you $39.99 for the PS3 platform. It looks like preordering the remastered set will get you a limited edition that packs the game with special packaging and a book of concept art! The games will be sold separately for the Vita platform, at a cost of 3,990 yen each or 3,600 yen for download.

Pokemon X & Y Sells 4 Million in Two Days

According to GoNintendo, Pokemon X & Y has sold more than 4 million copies in just two days! This is pretty much expected since this is the first Pokemon game to launch worldwide simultaneously.

On Saturday, Oct. 12, Pokémon X and Pokémon Y for Nintendo 3DS became the first set of games in franchise history to launch simultaneously worldwide. Nintendo reported today that the games combined to sell more than 4 million units across Japan, Europe* and The Americas on Saturday, Oct. 12, and Sunday, Oct. 13.

3DS console units are also being snatched up quickly here in Singapore. I can feel the hype over it :D.

It will also include “The Eternal Calm” and “Last Mission.”

No word about a Western release but I’m sure Square Enix will not forget us :).

Dragon’s Crown Gets Cross-Platform Multiplayer

For folks who own both a PS3 and a Vita, Dragon’s Crown now has cross-platform multiplayer in Japan which allows you to play between both consoles, whether you’re at home or on the go. The game’s fourth update patch adds the feature as part of a larger list of tweaks and adjustments.

And it looks like the patch will be heading to North America soon!

Square Enix Drakengard 3 Heading to West in 2014

If you like Square Enix and Dragons: Square Enix has announced on Wednesday that they will release the Drakengard 3 role-playing game next year for US$49.99.

Square Enix describes the story:

A prequel to the original Drakengard, Drakengard 3 transports players to a medieval world where six sisters wield special magical abilities as the “Intoners.” These sisters have brought peace to the earth with their power to manipulate magic through song. Harmony is disrupted, however, when the eldest sister, Zero, attempts to murder her younger sisters with the help of her dragon companion, Mikhail. As the story progresses, players find themselves in a battle to unravel the mystery of Zero and learn her true intentions.

The game will be out in Japan this December 19.
