The next series to get the film adaptation is Fairy Tail!

The film will open next August, more details to be revealed will be provided in future postings of the email newsletter for Kodansha’s Comic Plus members.

Hmm. I am interested in seeing whether it will be a side story or a story relating to the original storyline. ^^ I am following the anime and manga series, and I have to say the anime is quite near to the manga story so far :O. I love FT because they don’t have those horrible fillers!

Liar Game 2nd Live-action film? I am so in. The 45th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine is announcing on Thursday that the 2nd live-action film will open on 3 March 2012.

Actor Shota Matsuda (Hana Yori Dango) will reprise his lead role as the genius Akiyama, while Mikako Tabe (Kimi ni Todoke) will play the heroine Yuu in a new game.

The manga itself will resume in the magazine in November.

Toda Erika was the heroine in the first two seasons and 1st live-action film. Strange that she won’t be appearing in the 2nd film!!

The official website and Twitter account of Toaru Majutsu no Index has confirmed on Sunday that a theatrical film adaptation has been given the green light.

The announcement was made at a stage event during the Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival 2011 on Sunday, and more details will be provided in ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Bunko Magazine on October 11.

It seems that lots of anime series are getting the movie sequels/adaptions nowadays! O_O.

5pb. studio head/producer Chiyomaru Shikura had revealed the news before the announcement actually aired. Steins;Gate producer Yoshinao Doi had also indicated earlier on Tuesday that viewers should keep watching their televisions after the episode’s ending animation sequence is over.

Just started watching Steins;Gate. Even more motivation to finish watching the anime series!

The trailer originally debuted in Japanese theaters on Saturday. The movie will open in over 130 theaters in Japan on 3 December 2011. Can’t wait for it!

The website also confirmed that three news songs — the opening theme song “Ichiban Ippai,” the theme song “Unmei♪wa♪Endless!,” and the ending theme song “Singing” — will be in the film. The trailer includes the opening theme song and the Intrumental theme track.

Looking at how Resident Evil: Afterlife ended, it’s a no-brainer that there will be a sequel to it. With a small tease at the end of Afterlife, Jill Valentine will be making a return in the sequel. Her appearance will be according to the Resident Evil 5 game with blonde hair, battle suit and Umbrella’s chest device.

No news about the film has been disclosed at this point, not even the movie title. However, Sony Pictures did announce that the film is slated for a September 2012 release.
