Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Film Project Announced

Oh my, another piece of Code Geass news! Yoshitaka Kawaguchi, the producer of the Code Geass anime franchise, has announced that a film adaptation of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion anime is being planned.

It is different from Code Geass Gaiden: Boukoku no Akito, which is set to premiere this summer.

The anime studio Sunrise has announced that Code Geass Gaiden: Boukoku no Akito project will screen in 10 theaters throughout Japan in early summer this year.

Fans of Phoenix Wright you’ll get to see a live action movie of our favorite attorney next year, 11 February 2011! For now we can view the 2nd full trailer and teaser trailer at the official website.

You can watch the second full trailer below.

Both of the new trailers feature the theme song “2012 Spark” by Porno Graffitti.

Some of the scenes look fairly familiar – I did play the game on the Nintendo DS before, hope they’ll show the movie in Singapore when it’s out ^^.

Actor Shota Matsuda (Hana Yori Dango) will reprise his lead role as the genius Akiyama, while Mikako Tabe (Kimi ni Todoke) will play the heroine Yuu in a new game. As previously reported, the main actress of the 2 TV seasons and 1st movie was Erika Toda, but she won’t be reprising her role in the 2nd movie.

Does it not feel stranger without baka Nao?

The film will premiere in Japan on 3 March 2012. Hopefully Singapore will get the film distribution rights too!

Hooray! Rejoice as Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha: The Movie 2nd A’s will premiere in Japanese theatres next Summer 2012.

The first movie, Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha The MOVIE 1ST premiered last year.

Most likely it’ll take up to the end of 2012 for the Blu-ray to be out! More Feito goods to poison my wallet X_X

K-ON! Movie ED And Main Theme [07.12.11]

Single release, titled Singing! is the ED and main theme song for the K-ON! movie which will premiere in Japan this 3 December 2011. The single is scheduled for release on 7 December 2011, same as the single title Unmei wa Endless! which is the OP and theme song for the movie.

Two editions available for preorder: Regular and Limited Edition, whereby both singles feature different cover artwork.
