Voice actress and singer Maaya Sakamoto’s latest album, Everywhere, the 15th anniversary “best” album sold 47,000 copies in its first week of release. As such, the album landed a #3 spot on the Oricon’s weekly chart!

In addition to the new title song “Everywhere,” the two-CD album contains 30 songs from the 18 singles and 10 albums of Sakamoto’s career, such as her debut single “Yakusoku wa Iranai” from The Vision of Escaflowne and “Magic Number” from the recent Kobato. anime series.

I heard of her.. but not her songs. Maybe it’s time I did ;) Anyone a huge fan of her? :)

Apparently, at her recent LIVE performance at ANIMAX Concert in Osaka, held on the 22nd of November, she forgot her lyrics and decided to run away from stage. She never returned to the rest of the live event.

HIMEKA Apologizes For Runaway From Live Stage!

While it’s hard to confirm what exactly happen, sources state that she forgot the lyrics of Asu e no Kizuna. An apology has been posted on her Official Blog with regards to this incident – she said that she won’t run away anymore!

This news gave me a shock, but still, any singer would have forgotten their lyrics when they have just started on their career! Keep on moving HIMEKA!

Announced on the official website on Monday – The band had many discussions with their staff, and it was decided that the members would take some time to recharge and prepare for an eventual restart of the band. However, the length of their hiatus was not specified.

Formed in 2003, An Cafe has found popularity not only in Japan, but overseas as well. They have performed multiple times in the United States and across Europe.

You might know An Café for performing “Kakusei Heroism ~The Hero Without A Name~,” the second opening theme song to the Darker than BLACK anime series.

I’m not a big fan of Visual-Kei to begin with, but I have definitely heard of them at least =3. What about you?

A big moment definitely.

May’n to Perform at Budokan

May’n joined Horipro in 2003 after being selected in the music audition of the 28th Horipro Talent Scout Caravan. With her appointment as the singing voice of Sheryl Nome, she finally found success on the music charts.

She took the stage at the Nippon Budokan last November, but it was for the event “Macross Frontier.” On January 25, she will have the opportunity to perform there by herself.

While I am not a big fan of May’n, I’m really happy for her ^_^. She’s able to perform at Budokan at such a young age =D. I embedded the video of her 2008 performance at Animelo. Enjoy!
