An animation of some sort for the the manga and PSP game .Hack//Link is currently in production. It will not be a television series, though what exactly they have planned is not explained in any detail. If I had to guess, perhaps it will be something similar to the .Hack/Liminality OVA’s that were released with the original PS2  games, or even a movie.

Apparently millions of Otaku fanboys, Internet fame, and a video game weren’t enough for virtual pop-diva Hatsune Miku. She has now decided to star in an anime slated for Spring 2010.
