Looks like I will get the chance to watch Nodame Live-Action film in Singapore this coming March 11 2010! Film will also open in Hong Kong and Macau on March 4. Currently arrangements are still being dealt with for distribution in Korea.

The movie will have two parts, Part 1 and Part 2. Part 1 just opened last Saturday in Japan. Part 2 will open on April 17 2010. Meanwhile, enjoy the trailer below!

Gyabo manga series Nodame Catabille will be coming to an end in this upcoming month. The last chapter will be released in Kiss Magazine on October 10th. I’m sure many ~gyabo fans will cry when this wonderful series ends.
Luckily  fans won’t have to wait too long for more Nodame; the third season of the Nodame Anime begins in January 2010, and the first movie airs December 19th.
I never did read the manga… I found it difficult to enjoy a series about music without actually hearing the music xD

ZETSUBOU SHITA! The third season of Nodame being pushed back to winter 2010 has left me in despair!!!
Last winter it was announced that season three of Nodame would be aired this fall.  But the most recent announcement has it airing in January of 2010. I’m not too surprised actually, but Zen told me to write a post about my despair xD
With this newest announcement though there is also news that this third season will be the finale, which is unfortunate since I’m under the impression the manga is still ongoing. …

The second season is coming to an end this month and already a third season has been announced. Currently scheduled for Fall 2009 which seems like a long way away… but its better than nothing~ Or anime like Haruhi which fans KNOW will get a second season one day…But the answer never comes… Unless this is what you were expectingxD

GYABO~ Nodame Cantabile, Paris Chapter 1 finally came out over the weekend. Chiaki finally got up the guts over overcome his fear of airplanes and travel back to France with Nodame to attend music school. Episode one is spent on them moving in and Nodame getting used to France and their neighbors… (or rather their neighbors getting used to them) For those of you have haven’t seen the first season I just can’t emphasize how awesome this series is and highly recommend you watch it.

Good news for all Nodame fans! The official Japanese website for the anime adaptation of Tomoko Ninomiya’s Nodame Cantabile manga has begun streaming a promotional video for the upcoming Nodame Cantabile: Paris series.

The promo video can be found here, and do look out for the anime series which will premiere on the October 9.
