Being the last episode it is, what better way but to bring the two main leads together? And of course this is done by a train ride. Yuuto gets emotional and almost wanted to leave the party, but that old man appeared again. He said some things and I don’t know why Yuuto just believes people easily? Just a moment ago he was being screwed by Shute and his buddies. They were screwing around with his present, after having tore the wrapping paper only to discover a “cheap” gift. Cheap as it is, at least Yuuto understood what Haruka really likes.

From zero to hero, is what I think of Yuuto. He just walked up to Haruka, past Shute and gave his gift to Haruka. Instantly, she was all smiles. Shute got his ass kicked by his own father too! That was totally pwned. Reason being was because he was rude to the Nogizaka head, Haruka’s grandfather. One would have never expected him to be the grandfather.. Looks can be deceiving!

All is well and next thing we know, party is over, and they’re alone in the room! And we know where this is headed… But did it happen? I don’t really know because just then some busybodies accidentally barged into the room “accidentally”. They were eavesdropping! Ha!

The episode ends quite abruptly with Gentou chasing after Yuuto for touching his precious princess, and Yuuto asked Haruka out to another trip to Akiharaba!

I don’t know whether I enjoyed this anime at all, because this anime is only based on 12 episodes. There are too little episodes to build up the characters in this anime alone. Shiina obviously has feelings for Yuuto but she hid her feelings. It would have been more enjoyable if we watch Yuuto having to choose 2 girls. Of course if Mika developes feelings for Yuuto too, maybe we can witness some siblings rivarly. Of course being a short 12 episodes.. We don’t get all that.

It finally hit Yuuto that Haruka was the girl he gave the first issue of Innocent Smile to. FINALLY. We keep seeing those stupid flashbacks with blurred faces and it was about time that he finally realised her face. Is it so hard to remember? -_-

At the end, I’m wondering whether they did kiss. Because of the Rainbow Snake Haruka had from her grandfather which blocked the entire view – wonder indeed. Either way, I’m not believing that they did do it. Simply because 1 second later, Mika and the rest came tumbling in – eavesdrop! Lol.

Haruka birthday is the main event in this episode. Yuuto got to feel the vast difference in their backgrounds. He’s an average teenager boy, while Haruka can have anything she desires. Boy, her father bought an island just for her party! Then we get introduced to a-good-for-nothing rich kid, Shute Sutherland. I hate his accent and he keeps pretending that he knows Haruka extremely well. Yes Shute is interested in Haruka and he doens’t believe that Yuuto is suitable for her. So he makes those nasty remarks, causing him to feel miserable as he slowly starts to feel he can’t give her happiness.

Well, but we know Haruka isn’t that type of girl – she likes anime =D. And so, that explains Yuuto going to Akiharaba just to choose something she likes – Clumsy Girl Aki-Chan anybody?

The rest of the episode is fanservice, while there was this part I must stress. Yuuto meets this oji-chan and ends up helping him to look for his fishing hook. I have a feeling he will be more than just any oji-chan XD.

Oh yes, and those flashbacks that Yuuto keeps having, he seems to remember that he met this girl when he was very young. She was crying in the park. He gave her the Innocent Smile issue from Nobunage hoots. Yes I get the flashbacks already, shouldn’t they move on? -_-They know each other by fate/coincidence. Time to move on =X

Of course female lead(Haruka) enters, sees that scene(shown above) and runs away, stunned and feeling uneasy. Obviously she is jealous. And yes, we all know that Haruka and Yuuto will be together, it’s only a matter of time. Somehow I am irritated at the fact that two of them aren’t even “together” officially yet – after a good 10 episodes, we are nowhere despite both of them having feelings for each other -_-

Shiina asked Yuuto on the day of the festival whether Haruka was okay. Sad to say, they could have concentrated more on Shiina. She definitely has feelings for Yuuto! But after seeing that Yuuto has feelings for Haruka, she decided to back off. Shiina could have played a bigger role if she declared that she love him XD. Maybe a kiss would have happened at the end of this episode – between Haruka and Yuuto.

But no, all that happened was – they danced?!

Would have been better if Yuuto and Haruka kissed T_T.

Of course the episode ends in a very expected way.. Yuuto with Shina and they’re both in the kind of position which would give any misunderstandings. Which will give me the kind of events I want – expecting from Episode 10(which I have not watched yet)

Mika probably wants to help Yuuto, since her sister is quite slow in the area of love. -_- Well ultimately, the things Yuuto did in this episode, sort of cause Mika to want to kiss him(almost right?) And why on earth did Yuuto agree to go on a date with Mika?! It is absurd! Well this may be the first and last date for Mika with Yuuto XD

And strangely, what did Yuuto learn? Because all this weren’t applied in Episode 9 at all! Episode 9 was sort of a good opportunity for Yuuto.. But guess he didn’t grab the chance =X

Haruka’s father, Gentou comes to know about Haruka’s hobby. He got agitated that his eldest daughter was involved in such a thing. But a hobby is a hobby, he ought to have respected her for that! Love this episode because Haruka and Yuuto got to become closer. Even holding hands is like “okay” to the two of them?!

Got to know more people, this time it’s Haruka parents. When I saw Gentou, I was thinking where the wife was. Was she a working mother who didn’t spend time with her children? Come to think of it, my assumption may be right. Haruka has her 2 maids serving her since she was young. Well, despite that, Akiho makes her appereance to stop Gendou from making a fool of himself – and to respect their daughter’s hobby. ^^

Of course Gentou has come to terms with his daughter’s hobby. But not Yuuto. Definitely something to look forward to in the remaining episodes, where Gentou will most likely object xD
