I heard of anime bgm making their way on the local commercials here, though I doubt that anyone realized >_>. Obviously the producers of that show didn’t have the right to use part of the music for their show! RAGE!! What about you? Heard any anime music on your local shows when you know they obviously shouldn’t even be used?:/

According to the official website, the title is “Zan Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei Bangaichi” It’s a two-volume OVA and the first volume will be released on November 17th.

The new OVA will be bundled with the manga Volume 19. The limited edition of the manga volume 18 has an extra DVD, which includes 13 OP & ED songs of the series and a preview of the upcoming OVA.

I never actually caught Zetsubou Sensei, I only heard of the anime thanks to bluesnow’s obsession with the show =P. What about you? I must catch it one of these days ><.

Becky sensei will apparently be back in one extra episode that was announced to be released with Pani Poni Dash boxset in March 2009. I personally loved Pani Poni dash in all its brain melting glory, so I am definitely looking forward to it!

For those of you who don’t know what Pani Poni Dash is… its feels 99% the same to Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei if you replaced a Suicidal teacher with a Loli teacher. The both have the same dark humor and Japanese Pop Culture references. The only big difference is SZS is relatively realistic to some extent (at least the first season was), and Pani Poni Dash has Aliens, a depressed Talking Bunny, and a class president who is a ninja god that can open gates to other dimensions o.o! Seriously… these anime have so much in common I nearly jumped out of my seat in the first episode of Zetsubou Sensei; I was already feeling that they were similar… they they clearly pay tribute to Pani poni Dash…

Characters in Back Right with Blue hair are the “Standard Background Characters” in Pani Poni dash that appear in every episode. Here’s the main opening theme to the series (for some reason it has 3 even though its only a one season animexD). You get a good picture of what the anime is like from watching this.

All I can say is omg Micheal Jackson… you’ve even become material for the Japanese to lol at! xD

The first one will be released October 17th, it will only be two episodes long in total, so you won’t be wasting too much of your life to watch itxD

For those of you who don’t know what the series is about~ Its about a suicidal home room teacher, a super optimistic student, and a class full of girls that are all kind of odd balls. Its comedy parodying Japanese society in general, so it can be a bit hard to follow at times. I actually blogged the whole first season back at zenime, but the second season was just way too crazy~ I’ll have to watch it when I’m sick or something and my brain isn’t trying to think too hard.
