And just as I was wondering whether the previous seiyuu cast for the BRS OAV will be back, and yeah my questions were answered by the grand opening, held yesterday at the Official Website.

The announced seiyuu cast:

  • Kana Hanazawa as Mato Kuroi
  • Kana Asumi as Yuu Koutari
  • Miyuki Sawashiro as Yomi Takanashi

The video’s original character designer huke, director Shinobu Yoshioka, and the anime studio Ordet are also returning for the television series. Joining them are CG battle director Hiroyuki Imaishi, series script editor/scriptwriter Mari Okada, chief animation director/animation character designer Yusuke Yoshigaki, and the computer animators at Sanzigen.

I foresee many BRS products flooding the market soon. But that’s okay! My pocket will be safe. Somewhat xD.

MORE PRINCESS MILLHI. It has been announced at the Dog Days Special Promotion – Flonya Festival 2011 – event in Tokyo on Sunday, 2 October 2011, that production on a second season of the Dog Days fantasy anime has been given the green light.

Season 1 of Dog Days just premiered in April 2011. Despite low Blu-ray and DVD sales, there is  a season 2. I wonder whether they are just slowly building up the hype for it?

Oh well, regardless, this just means more Hocchan for me!! The possibility of hearing more Hocchan is just making go high and mad :D

Now when will this anime air? ^^. Hope it will be soon!

Many more.. I can’t finish naming them. She made her appearance today, at Day 2 of STGCC from 3-4pm. Had a live dubbing session followed by some Q&A. Sadly no photography allowed.

But but but. She waved to me when I was supposed to raise my hand to signal that I am the one who won. Lol. My face was stunned. Like what?! I WON!?!?

And she appeared on stage in yukata! WOW!!! *_*

Tonight is the screening of the Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos in Cathay Cineleisure. The movie will be screening for 3 days starting from today. The movie has already premiered in Japan back in July 2011. Really lucky to be able to catch the movie in Singapore too!(even though it’s one month late ha)

Next up will be Natsu Matsuri 2011 happening on Saturday night. It is located at the Changi Japanese School. A lively event where you can have a taste of Japan right in Singapore (well just a little). I always found it a hassle to get the tickets as people line up just to get the tickets which are priced at 2 dollars each. This year I was able to get the tickets thanks to Nanopulp! Will be making my way down to the school tomorrow ^^.

Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention (also known as STGCC) will be held on Saturday and Sunday.

I will be attending the event on Sunday as seiyuu Itou Shizuka will be there!! I like her voice, and it would be great to see her in person! Other highlights would be Kishida Mel, who is known for the original character design for the popular anime “Hanasaku Iroha” which is currently airing in Japan. He was also involved as an illustratior for “Kamisama no Memochou” that is currently airing in Japan for the Summer anime season.

Updates will be slower these few days as I will be out attending these events ^^.

I’m not a big fan of Maaya Sakamoto’s work but I definitely remember more of Kenichi Suzumura. He has such a distinct voice that you would recognised it!

The two voice cast members both worked on Ouran High School Host Club, Kara no Kyōkai – the Garden of sinners, Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny, Black Butler II, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Star Driver Kagayaki no Takuto, Soul Eater, and Birdy the Mighty Decode.

Maaya Sakamoto announced the news on Saturday, 13 August 2011 which was then later confirmed by Suzumura on his blog. ^^

According to Mitsuo Fukuda, director of Gundam SEED, Maaya Sakamoto and Kenichi Suzumura have already been good friends since Gundam SEED Destiny. For your information, Sakamoto voiced Lunamaria Hawke who loves Shinn Asuka (voiced by Suzumura)!
