Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Special Trailer

Square Enix has just release a “special trailer” for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy. It contains over three minutes of gameplay footage showing the game’s opening, stage, character and ability select, and rhythm play.

The game is set to be released in Japan on 16 Feburary 2012.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 Historia Crux Trailer

With the English release for Final Fantasy XIII-2 coming at the end of January, let’s take a look at the “Historia Crux” system in the game, as seen in the trailer embedded below.

The demo is available for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 since last week. I bet many folks already downloaded and tried it. As for me I shall wait till I finished FF13. LOL.

Gunslinger Stratos Is Square Enix Collaboration With Byking

Square Enix has formally announced Gunslinger Stratos, a new arcade game that’s being developed by Byking, developer of Gundam Extreme VS.

The gun-shooting action game will feature four-versus-four-player online gameplay, 60-frames-per-second graphics on a 60-inch plasma display, two-handed device controllers, and Tokyo’s Shibuya ward and other urban areas as its backdrop.

Also, the conceptual writer, Gen Urobuchi (Madoka Magica, Fate/Zero) is involved in this project too.

Gunslinger Stratos would be out for arcades this summer 2012.

Square Enix and Byking collaborating together definitely sounds interesting. Wonder how the gameplay would be! :D

Final Fantasy XIII-2 Demo Coming Next Week

Heads up! The demo for Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be available next week – 10 January 2012 for the PS3 and 11 January 2012 for the Xbox 360.

Final Fantasy XIII-2’s Xbox 360 Exclusive Serah Weapon

Square Enix has announced that there will be an Xbox 360 exclusive downloadable weapon for Serah. This weapon is a collaboration work between Square Enix and Microsoft. The new weapon called “Azrael” is supposed to have the ability to change your fate and also it ups your chain bonus stat. “Azrael” is available in the Chocolina Shop starting 10 January 2012 at the cost of 80 Microsoft Points for the weapon. Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC Video

Square Enix has released a video showing the upcoming DLC for Final Fantasy XIII-2.

The DLC several items, one of which is the “Omega” Colosseum monster, which will be available for download on 22 Dec 2011 at a price of 300 yen on PS3 or 240 MSP on Xbox 360. From the 22 Dec 2011 till 10 January 2012, it will be free.

Next up will be new costumes for both Noel and Serah which will be released on 10 January 2012 at a price of 300 yen on PS3 and 240 MSP on Xbox 360. The costumes are changeable at the main menu screen.

Serah will be getting an additional costume, which comes as the “Resort Style” bikini outfit and its due in February 2012.

Lastly, there’s Colosseum Battle Lightning, which does not have a release date at this moment of time.

Kingdom Hearts 3D Jump Festa Trailer

Square Enix has released the Kingdom Hearts 3D trailer that was shown in the Jump Festa last weekend. The trailer is showing some gameplay and also new worlds like Three Musketeers and Tron Legacy.

Also the official website for Kingdom Hearts 3D is up. You can view it here.

here are sections on story, characters, world, special and specificiations of the game. There’s a couple of wallpapers available for download under the special section also. In the specs section, it is listed that the game is scheduled for release in Spring 2012.
