Plug-in Electric Scooter

Japan sure have lots of interesting stuff. Now there is even a plug-in electric scooter you can use o.o

The scooter was used for a 141km ride from Numazu to Tokyo. The plug-in scooter needed 33 hours and 10 minutes to make the journey (with 5 battery charging stops). A gas-powered scooter made the same trip in 12 hours and 4 minutes. The gas for the trip cost 425 yen, while the battery charges totaled a mere 53 yen.
I think the electric scooter will be useful for short trips. They should …

Street computing isn’t common in Singapore, maybe because internet access around Singapore isn’t …

Windows 7 Whopper at Burger King Japan

Feeling hungry? Then be sure to try out this new Windows 7 Whopper at Burger King Japan! Microsoft has taken a unique step here to promote Windows 7 in Japan.

Fitting in with the software theme, the burger stacks seven patties in an otherwise normal Whopper and measures 5.1 inches tall. It also has an appropriate 777 yen price.
Looks like Microsoft has forgotten that Nana Mizuki voiced the Japanese Mascot for Windows 7. They should just mention “Nana Mizuki” in their advertisement and I’m sure any fan of Nana will rush …

Learn How to Ride a Bike With This Simulator

Do you know how to ride a bike? When I was younger, we had to use training wheels. When you’re ready, the training wheels will be off and you need to balance yourself with only 2 wheels! It’s extremely hard ><

The idea is to teach kids how to bike safely by placing them in a variety of real-world scenarios like “going to school”, “going to the grocery store”, and the like. Targeted for driving schools and educational institutions, Japanese parents can spend some time with their child learning the …
