A spinoff manga of the ever popular ToLoveRu series, ‘ToLoveRu Darkness’ is currently being serialized in Jump Square, and from that series comes an adorable Nendoroid of the dangerous assassin from another world – Golden Darkness!

She comes with three expressions, a typical expressionless face ideal for her personality, an embarrassed and angry looking expression and finally a blank stare. She also comes with a bag of taiyaki as well as a book to carry around with her – two things you rarely see Yami without!

Last but not least, she also comes with replaceable hair parts which allow you to pose her with her hair made into a number of fists – ready to punch anyone who makes her upset! There are so many different ways you can pose her – pick whichever you like best!

Definitely a get for me, and this means a hole in my wallet for December. Third figure due to be out in December for my preorder figurines. >_<.

The September issue of Shueisha’s Jump Square magazine is announcing on Wednesday that Kentaro Yabuki is launching a To Love-Ru spinoff manga series in the November issue on October 4. Saki Hasemi is scripting the series.

Wow. This is awesome stuff, despite the fact that I’ll now be on Jump Square instead of Shounen Jump, which makes the manga offerings from TLR now once a month. Also, there have been no news on what the spinoff will be based on, so we can still hope right?

Please make it a spinoff on Haruna or Yui. :D

This year’s 31st issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing on Monday that more anime based on Saki Hasemi and Kentaro Yabuki’s To Love-Ru -Trouble- manga has been green-lit.

Woah boy. This is big news. My initial reaction when Zenical told me about this was literally, ‘Wtf?’. I could not believe it until I saw the article myself. Well, there have been no further details regarding the cast, when it’ll be airing and how long it’ll run for but I will post more on this when I get more news. Or in this case, when Zenical finds more news and relays it to me.

Yami!!!

Yes. These would be my To-Love Ru stylings which I’ve wanted to buy so bad but never had the money to do so. Thankfully I had a little spare cash lying around on my birthday which led to me buying them. Not very pleased with it though. Yami looks awfully weird. Oh well, at least my Mikan styling is looking neat. :D

Cups! Cups!!

Mm. Since I’m still pretty well into the One Piece craze at the moment, decided to get the plastic cups. And yes, I am going to use them. The main reason I bought them was because my cup is smashed and I need a new one. Think I’ll be using the Chopper cup.(Far Left) :D

*Oh, if you’re wondering why the picture is like smeared on the top, my face got caught in the shot. So yeah, I decided to hide it. Haha.

Brutal LEGEND!! Bought this game sometime last week, a few days before school started. Had planned to complete it(Obtain the Platinum Trophy) but ran out of time due to a very annoying online trophy. A ‘pre-order’ guitar came with my copy even though I didn’t really pre-order it. It’s an AWESOME game to play but the online portions are awfully lackluster. I’m not even complaining about gameplay issues. Just to connect to someone in this game is a process that will drive one mad. But overall, great game.

Pocky! Mm. Although the picture only shows one box, I’ve like a whole stack of it in my living room. I just love Choco Banana Pocky. Great taste. Too bad it isn’t sold in too many places in Singapore. Other than Isetan, I don’t see much of it anywhere. And each box costs like $3? Can’t remember the price.

And last but not least, the main reason I’m actually doing a loot post before 29th October. TEKKEN 6!!

Mm, I recieved a message on one of the local gaming forums that the game was due to be released in Singapore before the actual launch date. On the day of the release, which was yesterday, I picked it up at night, just before the store was closing. Rushed home, put the game disc in, did the 4gb Install to improve loading times and started playing.

Loving the game. All my favourite characters have apparent boosts to all their attacks. All of the characters look very shiny. The story mode(Scenario Campaign) is just awesome. It’s a REAL story mode, compared to what Tekken 5 had, which was essentially making the player play through 34 times of the arcade to unlock the last character and all their stories.

The 2 newest characters, Lars and Alisa, are awesome additions to the game. They don’t feel like that extra character that’s added to the game just for the sake of the update. Alisa’s seiyuu is pretty familliar to me, but I can’t seem to identify who she is. 

Anyone knows who her seiyuu is?

I first found out about her when I found love in Nana Mizuki. They’re hosting the radio show together -Nana Mizuki Smile Gang, so it’s obvious that I’ll definitely know her ;).

As M suggested to changing the format of our Seiyuu Sunday post – I forgot what he suggested, but I’m grabbing and putting together some of the anime characters she voiced. See if you recognise any of them! Pictures all from MAL.

Sadly, the currently airing anime show she’s currently voicing is – Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. I doubt that we’ll hear more of Elicia Hughes now. =/ I like the fact she did some of my fave anime characters: Yoshika and Golden Darkness! =D.

This year’s 32nd issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine will announce on Monday that three new OVA volumes based on Kentaro Yabuki and Saki Hasemi’s To Love-Ru manga have been green-lit.

For those who have yet to watch the To-Love Ru anime or are not reading the To-Love Ru Manga, do watch/read it. While on the exterior it may seem like the typical harem-ecchi show, the series actually goes beyond that.

The manga so far has gone beyond the daily activities of Rito and Lala and focused on more character development for Sairenji, Mikan, Yami and Yui. While the Anime Series mainly consisted of fillers and the usual comedy-ecchi situations, the OVAs feature more on the character development portions of the show which makes To-Love Ru one of the more decent reads/watches. Personally I can’t wait for the last episode of the 1st series of OVAs as well as the new set of 3.

Cospa is mainly known for releasing anime-related cushion covers, shirts and stuff. So we do get some releases from them for figurines. I do remember of a particular Shana figurine from Cospa which was well-received(well I heard comments from my friends that the Shana is fanstatic XD)

But sadly this figurine does not appeal to me compared to the GSC version of Golden Darkness(Psst I got that! ^^). Her outfit looks dull and I have no idea what expression she is trying to do. Sad? Or lost? XD

Retailing at a scale of 1/8 by Good Smile Company, Yami, or Golden Darkness will be available this March 2009 at 6,500 yen. Hobby Search has started preorders her since yesterday(I believe)

I’m keep updates on figurines and stuff everyday, I’m still alive! *dances* Tempted to get this! I missed the AlphaxOmega one previously, so this will really really make me happy just preordering her. x)
