This figurine is obviously not suitable for me LOL. I wonder any Selvaria fans will want this? :P

Sega suggests the PSP isn’t popular enough in Western markets, and that Valkyria Chronicles 2 didn’t sell well enough to justify localization.

Valkyria Chronicles 3 was released on the PSP platform, and it has the strongest sales amongst the series: 102,779 units during its launch week. So far Valkyria Chronicles (1) is the only one on the PS3 platform. Kind of a waste since there are fans like me who prefer a HD version when playing a game!

I can only think there might have an increment in units sold because of the special product code that came bundled with Nendoroid Riela.. I haven’t tried VC3, what about you?

I have yet to watch the OVA, but I really want to!! It is Valkyria Chronicles and Nakamura Yuuichi is the voicing Kurt Irving which is an added bonus for me :).

The ace of the Nameless, with her huge weapon in hand! From the PSP game ‘Valkyria Chronicles 3′ comes a Nendoroid of Imuka, the ace of the ‘Nameless’. who are a military group made up mostly of criminals and trouble-makers.

Even her weapon, ‘Var’ is fitted with posable pieces and comes with parts to let you pose her reloading the giant weapon. She also comes with an different expression better suited for battle scenes, leaving you with a load of posing options to enjoy!

Nendoroid Riela sold separately.

I actually like Imuka’s huge weapon. Compatible with my Nendoroid Black Rock Shooter :P

This 2-episode long OVA is an adaptation of Sega’s Valkyria Chronicles 3 PSP game. Instead of reusing the game’s theme song, the anime will have its own opening and ending songs:

The first episode of the OVA is available now on Japan’s PlayStation Store and will be available on DVD/Bluray on 29 June 2011. I saw Welkin, Maximilian and Selvaria in the promo video, but Alicia is no where to be seen! Oh well, at least she and Isara are on the characters page so they will make an appearance somewhere.

It was a GET on my list, but after looking at the final preview of the product I don’t think I’m ordering this. Somehow I hate what they did to her hair. Lol.

From the popular PSP game ‘Valkyria Chronicles 3′ comes a Nendoroid of Riela Marceris, the young girl who is sent into the ‘Nameless’ squad because she is known as the ‘Grimreaper’ – everyone believes that she brings misfortune and death to anyone who fights alongside her.

She comes with weapons such as her memento knife as well as her Valkyrian spear and shield. She also comes with the Nendoroid original weapon which looks something like a crowbar. This weapon can be unlocked within the game by using the special product code found with the Nendoroid!

Reservations to commence tomorrow, 1st March 2011. She’ll come with a bonus mission called “Nikkitousen” which has the crowbar-like item she’s holding in the picture above! Stay tuned!

Nendoroid Riela comes with a bonus product code for a mission called Nikitousen.

This mission features Riela and Imca in a fight against an invading Calamity Raven force. The two heroines will need to defend the city on their own until reinforcements arrive. Defeat the enemy ace during the mission, and you’ll receive a powerful weapon.

Nendoroid Imca does not come with any bonus.

The official website has been updated and the game’s opening video is available for streaming now! A lot of you should know who is that singing. Yes it is May’n! This is Valkyria Chronicle 3’s theme song called “Moshimo Kimi ga Negau no Nara”. Man, I am definitely waiting for a Japanese audio patch when the English version gets released because Nakamura Yuuichi is taking on the role of Kurt Irving! Love his voice!

Valkyria Chronicles 3 will be released in Japan on 27 January 2011. There are no news of the English version so far, but I think the localization team should be hard at work on it =).
