Episode 20 has alot of tears…. Ranka cries… little children cry…. Klan Cries… Even I cried. Perhaps the most chaotic and emotional episode of the series thus far.

The episode starts where the left one left off. As we learned in the last minute or so of the last one that little green “Ai-kun” of Ranka’s is actually a baby Vajra. It went into hiding in the colony and let out hundreds and hundreds of phase two Vajra spawn that go causing mass destruction and killing everyone. At the same time Ranka walks in on Alto with Sheryl in his arms and is so devastated she can’t bring herself to sing and save the city. Sheryl goes over and gives her a good slap telling her to pull herself together. Ranka does sing… but since her emotions are so mixed up it actually causes the Vajra to become exponentially more aggressive.

All those dots are thousands of Vajra swarms destroying everything

They all run to get more ammunitions to fight off the monsters, but after an explosion Sheryl gets separated from them. They run to the base and Klan decides she will change into her true Zentradi form to take them on. She starts undressing(To get into the transformation machine) and naked in front of everyone, in the midst of battle she decides to confess her love to Michele. At first he claims his heart is “MIA,” but after a good punch in the ribs Klan is able to steal a kiss from him.

While Klan is in the transformation machine the Vajra start to break in, almost breaking the machine, But Michele decides to be a hero and flies at them head on guns shooting. Unfortunately they stab right through him. Even after such a severe wound he continues to fight the last one in the room with all his strength. A whole is blown in the room, and him and the Vajra are sucked out into space. All this happens while Sheryl is singing which only adds to the emotional scene… I cried.
