Everyone Loves Curry Rice!
Another detailed report carried out by What Japan Thinks on Curry Rice in Japan. My response after reading that article was: Wow everyone loves curry rice! Even Konata(starts to remember of Lucky Star.. She’s good at whipping up Curry Rice! ^^)
Survey was carried out from 23 July 2008 to 7 August 2008, with a scale size of 9,921.
One of the questions, as shown in the chart above(Do you like curry rice?) has only 0.4% hating! Which is approximately 40 people. And though almost 98% of the sample size loves curry rice, about 59.2% out of the entire sample size makes their own curry rice with purchased sauce. 25.4% rather eat in restaurants too. Lol.

And one of the other questions listed was “What other ingredients would they recommend to make the curry more delicious”.
Guess what? Eggplant and Chocolate was one of the top 3 listed! Eggplant has 462 votes while chocolate had 392 votes. Coffee is 4th in place with 382 votes. Sample size of 9,858 were casted for this question.
Besides that, they also asked what other food they preferred besides curry rice, and boy, almost everything listed there had the word curry in it! Lol!
Curry Udon, the next best thing after their top fave – Curry Rice. Looks delicious!
So do you eat curry rice? I think I do.. just that the curry is in a pot and I scoop the curry and potatoes out from the pot =3. One of the reason why curry is so famous in Japan is due to the simplicity of making it compared to other dishes! It can be made from ready-made curry sauce mix(purchase from store)
And Nana Mizuki loves Curry Rice too XD.

Woah thats alot of curry rice fans!!! I’m probably going to look dumb asking this, but curry is the sauce you put on the rice or no? Cause the picture of what up their is what looks what I eat on saturday nights at a local Japanese Restaurant. I don’t say, can I have Rice curry. But can I have “Chicken don” !!! Lol

Oh no I shouldn’t have read this; now I want to go back home T_T
Well I have brought over some curry sauce to go over with my rice, so there’s still a bit of a warmth and backup when I have to resort to some.
