CLANNAD ~After Story~ – Episode 5 & 6 (Misae’s Arc)

A combined post of Episode 5 and 6, which is Misae’s arc. The love story of her and a cat. =/

This brief arc touched more on Misae and her past, with flashbacks, back when Misae was a Student Council President. How was this arc related to the main story, I have no idea. I got really bored with this arc, because halfway through Tomoya drifted off to sleep. He had a dream, of Misae’s past. Why those two had a certain connection that enabled him to see the flashback – again I have no idea.

So many questions and it is kind annoying. I was thinking who the heck is Shima Katsuki, since he appeared outside of Misae’s school one day, and told her he was there to grant her a wish. Seems like harassment to me, if I was Misae, I would ignore him. LOL.

Well, the truth was revealed in Episode 6 that Shima is actually not Shima, but the cat. He fall in love with her, just like Misae loved him back. She wished that he’ll forever love her. He returned to being a cat, but Misae did not know that, until Tomoya had a flashback.

Unfortunately, both of them looked like brother and sister to me, than lovers. LOL. Am I the only one?

This arc was kinda boring and confusing at first, but the way this arc ended was very touching that I was wiping my tears at the end of Episode 6! Heartbreaking, as Key stories are usually. Yes, thumbs up for the sad and heartbreaking ending.
