Later this year, in August 2009, Sony would be releasing their low-priced netbook for sale – VAIO W Series.

Sony Announces VAIO W Series

The new addition to its Vaio line of computers will cost about 60,000 yen when it goes on sale in Japan next month, with launches in the U.S. and Europe to follow shortly after. It will be about the size of a hardback book and run on lower grade hardware than other Sony models.

The new series will be about 25 centimeters wide, 18 centimeters long and 2.5 centimeters thick with a screen resolution of 1366 by 768 pixels.

Colors available are: White, black or pink.

Don’t know about you, but I am not a fan of VAIO products. None of my friends uses VAIO netbooks. In fact most of them are using HP or Acer XD. Is your computer a Sony product?

I’m struggling to find the connection between this blog post and the world of manga and anime… and I can’t.

Well, this post is from the Japan subsection. Doesn’t need to have a manga or anime connection since it’s not in those subsections.
