Microsoft is teaming up with Japanese Studios to produce an anime series of the game “Halo”. The 7 episode series titled “Halo Legends” will be produced by 5 production houses: Production I.G, Toei Animation, BONES, Studio 4℃, Casio Entertainment.

Halo

Microsoft is in charge of the story and the visuals. A trailer will be shown at Comic-Con on July 23rd.

The DVD, Downloads and Blu-ray will be available early next year(no idea who will be distributing the Blu-ray as Microsoft has also roped in Warner Bros. to distribute Halo Legends on DVD and via digital platforms early next year).

Halo Anime

I have heard of Halo many years ago but unfortunately I don’t have the slightest clue what type of game “Halo” is. Anyone care to tell me? ^_^; Anime series adapted from games might be good.. I mean look at me, I’m a huge Valkyria Chronicles fan and I want to play the PS3 game myself (though I haven’t done so >_>)

Haha. Zen doesn’t have a 360 though, it’s almost impossible for her to play the newer variants of Halo.

Boo to 360. :( I can already foresee my money being sucked up due to the Gold Memberships to play Halo:ODST online.

I am anti-Xbox…. Halo anime do not want.

Basically Halo is a game where you get guns and blow aliens up…
I played the first game and don’t remember a story line~ Just alot of fan boys that fell in love with it.

SpikeTV recently showed some sort of preview for Halo legends, but I think they have already taken the video down. However there was a guy who uploaded it on YouTube. You can view it here.

@Guuzen: The video was never uploaded on Spike.com for some reason, not to my knowledge at least.
