DSi Piracy Crushed with Firmware Update

The latest firmware update, 1.4 allows users to have direct Facebook photo uploading.
This latest DSi update seems to have once again nixed piracy devices for the DSi. According to one Japanese site, the update makes it impossible to use the following cartridges: DSTTi, Hyper R4i, ak2i, R4 Ui, R4i Gold, EZ Vi. [Kotaku]
I know I’m not a fan of those social networking tools since I can’t concentrate on so many(facebook is still a blur to me >_>). I was using twitter wayyy before it became famous. Lol. If you’re a facebook addict, would you sacrifice your free games?
With the introduction of so many extra features, one will consider to purchase the original console. Would you? Of course DS/DSi would probably to implement more features before I will consider purchasing it. I read somewhere that there’s a homebrew game for you to learn Japanese =3 (Though I’m not 100% sure.. LOL). I WANT THAT! LOL.
lol. Honestly, social networking is pretty much useless on the DS if you’re not near a WiFi zone. So I’ll probably still opt for the ‘Pirated’ Chips anyday.

Thats so weird… Yesterday at my work… someone showed me their DS R4 card… and that game is what they showed me LOL.
Not a fan of facebook… though I prefer facebook to twitter lol xD
It will only be a matter of time till pirates find away around this though.

Nice information.I was wondering that only.I have R4 and I’m totally okay with R4 and love it.It is easy to setup and use.I will surely update latest firmware.Thanks for the information.
