Umbrellas are a hassle to use when you’re outside! Imagine carrying lots of paper bags in your hands and when it starts to rain, you have to use the umbrella to shelter yourself. You find yourself strugging to carry both the umbrella and the bags in your hands. Well, fear no more as Japan has another great invention for you – Shoulderbrella ;)

Shoulderbrella Keeps You Hands Free

Adhering to the end of any stock umbrella, the 2,499 yen Shoulderbrella is a flexible, pipe-cleaner-like accessory that wraps around your body to hold your umbrella for you.

Now you can hold your groceries on both hands without worrying about the umbrella. Also this was invented by a doctor who is familiar with the structure of the shoulder – hence don’t worry about any side-effects when using Shoulderbrella!

One of the best ideas to come out to Japan but I can see a downside already.
What if it’s a windy day and it’s raining? The rain wouldn’t only be coming downwards but at all angles. >_>

Since there’s only been one time my entire life that I happened to have an umbrella while it was raining there is a very high chance I would never use this xD
I like getting wet in the rain anyways =3
