The economy must be getting better over in Japan as there are 99,800 yen iPhone cases going for sale! The casing is actually more than the iPhone?!
Japan Texture cases from SoftBank BB are all handcrafted and have referential nods to significant moments and concepts in Japanese history and culture.
Upon further research, I found out that Softbank actually released Japan Texture Part 1 designs back in April 2009. Each case was going at a retail price of 39,800 yen. There were only 50 pieces of each design.
Lol would you pay 99,800 yen for a cellphone case? The current designs look gorgeous and stunning – I wouldn’t mind paying more if the cost was within my budget (like 100 dollars?) but no way am I going to pay for a case which cost more than my phone! LOL.

On a random note I actually have Two very old Japanese Jewlery/treasure boxes painted in such a fashion~ I wonder if I could sell them for $1000 xD
They’re very pretty, but I don’t own an iPhone. You could get five of the phone I do have for the cost of one of those cases. lol
These cases are the most luxurious ones i have ever seen. The price is incredible… but anyway I adore these hand-painted cases! i will still adhere to those cheap iPhone cases. i can buy severals without worrying about my wallet.
