With the PS3 Slim being confirmed for release this September 2009, the question now is “Will the Slim be able to stand vertically like it’s Phat version?”

Looking at the picture, the PS3 Slim furthest to the right is displayed in a vertical position.

Kotaku did a vertical standing test for gamers who are worried that you can’t place it vertically like the phat version.

Looks wobbly and I feel unsafe leaving my PS3 Slim in a vertical position after watching that video >_>. To make sure that your entertainment unit is safe from any torture, Sony is adding in a kickstand for your PS3 Slim. And it does not come free inside the box, you have to fork out $24 for it!

So the total cost of buying the new PS3 Slim will amount to $323 after adding in the kickstand. Or you can just save 24 dollars and place your PS3 horizontally =P.
