As seen in one of the Japanese stores, this sign was spotted claiming that they are no longer buying old Xbox 360 consoles.

Old Xbox 360 No Longer Can be Sold

The store will buy Xbox 360 consoles that went on sale from 1 September 2007 onwards. Any Xbox 360 consoles before that will not be entertained.

No idea what this means, and whether it’s an isolated case. Maybe a new Xbox model is in the making? Lol.

Well, with the PS3 Slim being official, the xbox 360 is the ‘fattest’ box now so yeah, I wouldn’t be surprised if Microsoft is working on a new slim version of their own or have they already done so.
    Hmmmmmm….

No, this just means that they’ll stop buying the early vesion of xbox thats known to “RROD” and other malfunction (known as Xenon, Zephr and Falcon), the latest version is called Jasper.

It is worth noting that japanese version of xbox are known to be more stable than their american counterpart.

Oh, and Xbox 360 is pretty much impossible to be slimmed down right now. As it still chugging a lot of heat and needed huge heatsink to cool it off

@ Optic: And if microsoft does come up with a SLIM version, they’ll say this has nothing to do with Sony releasing PS3 Slim. LOL XD

@ KYPMbangi: Lol we all thought that it was impossible for the PS3 to get a slim release, but they did. Nothing is impossible XD
