According to Weekly Shounen Magazine, CLAMP’s manga Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE will end in WSM volume 44 to be released on September 30th. It will be chapter 232. The final tankobon volume 28 will be released on November 17th along with CLAMP’s art book.

Did anyone else read/watch this magnificent series? I was an avid reader till it occurred to me that those Yaoi Fangirls CLAMP were definitely taking too much drugs. The last arc I found appealing was about Pirate Magician Vampire Fai, who’s real name wasn’t Fai, but Yuui, who accidentally kills his real twin brother Fai because of a hot but psychopathic mass murdering king. If memory serves me correctly his yaoi soul mate Kurogone saves him from the murderous king at the price of getting his armed ripped off.  As a girl I couldn’t help but like the constant yaoi undertones as well xD

But in the end the series just started getting so confusing that you’d either have to be a genius or on drugs or both to follow.  Perhaps if another anime season came out that wasn’t 80% filler it would make more sense. A beautiful series though; one of CLAMP’s best artistic pieces without a doubt. This is also the only CLAMP series I’ve ever followed to end…. Please finish X now CLAMP D=

2-3 more chapters eh. Thankfully it’s ending. I mean, I love the series and the manga and all but, the last month worth of chapters have just been WAYYYYYYYYYYY too confusing to even read.

I’m following Tsubasa and I’m current with the manga that has been published in English by Del Rey (from the sounds of things, I still have the incomprehensible chapters to look forward to.) I’m glad this series is going to get a real ending… I’d hate to see another unfinished series like X.

I love the art and the characters… the story? Well, it’s been interesting. :)

CLAMP always has confusing storylines it seems. And yeah i love this series, i’m up-to-date with the ones released in English, which is…. volume 22. lol I stayed away from the anime, despite my love for the Manga. I know that the further chapters are much more confusing (the ones out now are lol), but the story is compelling enough for me to keep reading. While i’m glad to see that there’s an end to it in sight, i wonder how they’ll tie-up everything. I’m forcing myself to not read ahead, of what’s already officially published, online so i can enjoy the ride for as long as possible.

I do have to say…. i’d like them to finish X as well. Wasn’t there some issue with them continuing it? Like, it was too graphic or something like that…. i can’t remember right now….

(Sorry for the handle, It’s one I use alot, just a concidence that this post is actuli about Tsubasa)

Yeah Its confusing but in fairness It’s quite well written. The paradoxi are better thought out than any others I’ve seen such as Heroes.
Oh and Guuzen – Drop the anime before you hurt yourself. As soon as they step foot outside the library your done, go warch TTR, or better yet, start reading :)

The series was very confusing towards the end, I stopped reading for a while from frustration of not understanding what was going on :-P But after rereading some chapters and doing some online research from confused readers just like me who clarified it a bit more, I was able to follow along until the end. The manga is done now, just finished the final chapter which wasn’t as great as I expected…
