Star Ocean: The Last Hope Being Ported To The PS3
Square Enix has finally announced that Star Ocean: The Last Hope will be ported over to the PlayStation 3. Back when it was released in late February 2009, The Last Hope was an Xbox360 exclusive title. After that, announcements about the game coming to the PS3 was pretty much on and off.
However, it is not just a simple port. Square Enix is making it an international version (renamed to Star Ocean: The Last Hope International). For this international version, you will be able to choose between two audio tracks in the game: Japanese and English. Subtitles are also available for a couple of languages. In my opinion? Switch the audio track to Japanese and then set the subtitles to English ;). You know how sometimes English dubbed voices can ruin the whole emotion that the characters are trying to express >.<.
Star Ocean: The Last Hope International will be available on February 9, 2010.

Oh btw, when u play VC, switch the audio tracks to english dub. IT IS THE BEST DUB u will ever hear.

Sorry to break it to you, but I don’t have a PS3 =(. Though I may be getting one by either the end of this year or the next =). Anyways, I have never played a Star Ocean game before, but I sure would love to try this one.
As for VC, I’m going to have to either try it on zenical or M’s PS3 XD. Hope she won’t be selling it anytime soon O.O will try the english audio track ;)

I KNEW IT!!! Star Ocean is a Playstation game…. i don’t care what anyone says. When you have 2 of the three of the series on the PS/PS2, you HAVE to make the newest one for the PS3…. you just have to! I will definitely be getting this when it comes out. :D

You know… i have no idea. You’d think they’d want to shout it from the highest mountaintop, especially with the success of Star Ocean 3 on the PS2. Squenix hurts my brain sometimes…. well, more than the original Squaresoft ever did.
