A big fan of the anime series Valkyria Chronicles, I am looking forward to the release of the OST this coming 30 September, 2009!

Original Soundtrack is composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto, and included in the OST is also the insert song sang by Rosie(Junko Minagawa)
Retail price of the OST is at 3,150 yen. Get your copy over at CDJapan or Play-Asia! Fans of Valkyria Chronicles must get this OST ;) I will be looking forward to next week!

I love this ost. Wait… why is it just now being released? I’ve had it for a while now.
Anyway, this is probably one of Hitoshi’s best soundtrack in the classical style, besides ASH: Archaic Sealed Heat, which came out recently as well. Definitely a soundtrack to get, especially for a Hitoshi fan. It made me like his music more, actually, along with Breath of Fire V (which is a different style than what he does now),

That’s the game OST u have there. This is more likely related to the anime series.

That’s actually very surprising to note. I’ve already listened to the entirety of the game soundtrack and this makes me curious as to the differences that will exist between the anime soundtrack and the game. Sakimoto did mention some more silly songs to complement the silly atmosphere, but that’s about the scope of it. Worth checking out nonetheless.
