Bayonetta: PS3 vs Xbox Graphics
So how are the graphics of Bayonetta on the PS3 and Xbox? With the demo now available: The PS3 version does looked worse off than the Xbox version.
Looks like SEGA did a poor porting of the PS3 version! Oh and Platinum Games developed the Xbox version.
And SEGA wants to be fully responsible for the PS3 Version of Bayonetta by including a “Converted by:XXX” at the end of the game demo. LOL? The US release of the game would be out next year, hopefully SEGA would use the time now to improve the graphics ><

There also seem to be issues with tearing and frame rate on the PS3 version. I’d call that more of an issue that which one looks better. I probably wouldn’t notice texture quality or image quality of a game as I was playing it unless it was blatantly bad, but I would notice slow down or tearing.

I wish people knew what they were talking about….this isn’t about fanboys and which system your prefer, here the 360 obviously has better graphics and for an actually explainable reason. In all theory yes the ps3 should have better graphics than the 360, but the ps3’s processor is split into 8 where as the xbox is split into 3, the PS3’s more complicated processor is harder to code for, think of it like this code for 8 cores or 3 which sounds easier? So basically if you have the same release date for both consoles and one is harder to code for you might not be able to make it look as good in the amount of time, which is the obvious case here. But the ps3 may have better graphics on console exclusives such as Killzone2 or MGS4 seeing as they were coded for the PS3.

uhm compression on the xbox is FAR more greater than the ps3 , the xbox has to work MUCH harder than a ps3 does in decompression
thus the COMPLEXITY that you speak of in the PS3 is false.
and lets not forget about the blu’ray disc format…it simply holds everything in a pure streaming motion where as the disc that Xbox uses…well ..very compressed.

if you check out Uncharted 2 which sadly but true is ONE of few games that use the ps3’s full potential is flawless and would NOT be able to run on an xbox..because its inferior

hey dude, relax. Each person has their own preferences. My choice is the PS3 simply due to the fact that the Xbox is region locked, hence very little games could actually be played here. Yup. I’m not so picky on graphics wise actually. :D
