Bayonetta Received Perfect Score From Famitsu

Bayonetta… Ahh yes that really sexy fashionable female lead with a very awkward walking animation in the game Bayonetta. Well, it seems like her beauty has won the hearts of the people in Famitsu, and they have awarded the game a perfect “40/40″.

Bayonetta

As you guys should know, visuals are accounted into a game’s rating. So some of you may be thinking “wait, wasn’t the visuals of the PS3 version noticeably worse compared to the Xbox?” Well, the perfect score was only awarded to the Xbox 360 version of the game. The PlayStation 3 version got a “38 / 40″ score instead.

Personally, I don’t really see why Famitsu gave Bayonetta a perfect score… I watched a few gameplay videos and it just feels like another Devil May Cry game =S. Maybe Japanese view games in a different way? I have to admit that I have not played game yet, so I’m not in any position to pass any judgment.

However, can somebody tell me what is so good about it? Apart from the stunning visuals, what other aspects of the game is worthy of that perfect score? Please tell me! =D

    Big sexy ass, big jugs, big guns and non-stop action. Theses are just 4 traits guys (and maybe girls, don’t wanna be sexist here lol) want in a game and surely u can see all of that. I haven’t played the demo myself but the animation has already won me over.

    I got in trouble watching the TGS trailer at work. One of the girls said it’s porn but some of the guys said, ‘it’s good shit’. LOL

    LOL. Did you see how she walks and stands?? I’m not surprised if she suffers from stiff back >.<

    @Optic
    How could you judge us guys like this! D= hahahaha.

    Oh man hope you didn’t get in trouble with your boss or anything >.< Hmm other than Bayonetta’s stance and walk, I don’t think I have any problems with the game’s animation as well. Visuals are great, though like I said, the gameplay to me looks too much like Devil May Cry.

    I can speak for others but from my perspective, I reckon that’s what many westerns will think.
    I’m not sure if u know but the reason why it looks and/or feels like DMC because it’s the same creator who made DMC is making this game. ^^
