Twitter is really addictive. It lets you keep updated with news, friends, etc. Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino also tweets! Recently, he said via Twitter that development on White Knight Chronicles 2 was about to reach a climax. Famitsu.com and its print counterpart have provided long awaited followups on the title; there have been mentions of a summer release time frame for the sequel. The English release of White Knight Chronicles was out just last month, and yes it took nearly 1 year for us to get the English release. T_T. The game was short, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

There will be two new characters in the sequel: Miu and Scardyne. Some information about the duo.

Miu is a 15-year-old girl who loves fighting. As the granddaughter of former Foria leader Duke Durham, her life was in danger. Miu is voiced by Rie Kugimiya.

Scardyne is a Forian general. He leads Miu to safety following an internal disruption in Foria. They meet Leonard and friends along the way and the whole group ends up traveling together. Scardyne in voiced by Keiji Fujiwara.

The print version of Famitsu, as mentioned over at andriasang – the battle system has improved tremendously: The improvements include visual updates, with new visual effects for your attacks, and new gameplay systems. Also there will be dash and charge commands added to the gameplay. New features added also are “Live talk” and counter attacks.

Can’t wait for the sequel to be out. Part 1 was left hanging ~_~. I demand for Part 2 now!!

Rie Kugimiya! I hope they have dual audio tracks this time for the international version.

As for the improved battle system, they need to increase the charge rate on the action gauge to speed things up. Faster, more intense = more fun.
