Final Fantasy XIII was originally a PS3-exclusive game, but it made it onto the Xbox platform too. This made Xbox fans happy and PS3 fans sad. Sister project Final Fantasy Versus XIII was also a PS3-exclusive, and has stayed as such for now.

At a recent Q&A session held on Tuesday, CEO Yoichi Wada, as reported at Impress Watch, when asked if it would be best to give Versus a multiplatform release on Xbox 360, Wada replied “We’ll be looking into it internally until right before the formal announcement.”

The question is – will having the game on Xbox 360 platform help increase sales? Definitely. I wonder what’s holding Square Enix back.. (I do have a PS3 console only – I prefer my PS3 due to the region problems that Xbox 360 might have)

So for now, just wait for the official announcement before firing up your Xbox 360 console for Final Fantasy Versus XIII.

On a side note, I am still at Chapter 10 for Final Fantasy XIII… ._.
