Monster Hunter Frontier Online was just released for the Xbox 360 platform last week. The period: June 24 till July 7 2010 will run an open beta test, and so far, over 6 days, from June 24 till June 30, there are currently 116,767 hunters already!

However this does not mean that 116,767 copies have been sold. Still, Capcom has managed to sell well beyond the first day 60,000 unit figure that leaked out of Enterbrain earlier in the week.

Open beta test will end on July 7 2010 at 10:00. After that there will be an official maintenance for 4 hours. Official paid access to the game will begin at 14:00. All buyers of MHF Online will receive one month of free service as well as 12 months of Xbox Live Gold Membership.

Capcom should seriously release this game on the PS3 too – we have the Playstation Plus. We sign up if we want the premium stuff ^^.
