Gran Turismo 5, a game which you might have been waiting for ever since 2006 when it was first revealed back at E3 gaming convention. Slated for a March 2010 release, it was delayed to “TBA”. Then it was finally revealed that it would be out this November 2 2010. Well, it is delayed again.

Writing on the official Playstation Blog, SCEA producer Taku Imasaki had this to say about the date change:

We sincerely apologize to GT fans for the delay, however, creator Kazunori Yamauchi and the team at Polyphony Digital want to make certain they are creating the perfect racing experience, and we are confident that this ambitious game will exceed expectations when it launches.

We’ll have more information for you in the near future, but said that it will be coming this “holiday season.”

This holiday season in Japan will be end 2010 and early 2011. So it’s possible that the game would be out in January 2011 – well that’s just me. What do you think? When will the game be out?

It is pretty interesting to see whether Sony will still release that Blue PS3 bundled with Gran Turismo 5 on November 3. Doubt that they can now, so will the Blue PS3 still be available as a normal purchase? Or we will have to wait until GT5 is ready for release?

I hope so. I dont want a Starcraft Ghost thing where it keeps getting delayed then shelved for no real reason.
