Tokyo Is Not A Ghost Town

Been reading the news of Japan for a few days ever since I returned from my trip to Malaysia. Media around the world is reporting Tokyo becoming a ghost town, with lots of people leaving Tokyo. Look at the few photos below, which were taken a few hours a go in one of the busiest shopping/restaurant districts in Tokyo called Shibuya. Pictures from DannyChoo.

The three big screens are turned off to conserve electricity.

If you are reading this do spread the word that Tokyo is not a Ghost Town. I really hate how the media(worldwide) is spreading so much disaster and despair >_<. You can view more pictures over at DannyChoo.

For some reason media here in the States loves to try to make people really depressed about everything. This is a great blog post nice to see Japan still doing what it can to normalize.
